[QUOTE="D4W1L4H"][QUOTE="Jakandsig_"] WHat the hell, listen you are comapring to different things, profit in same time period and losses in same time period. So far only 3 games (mostly) have actually MOVED consoles. the titles that sold over a million which are few are the ones people decided to buy with said games. All the others are not covering the losses. The short term view of Nintendos and it;s fans just irritates me, their freaking values keep going up and down in wave like values all because they have a terrible market plane and keep all the investors and stock holders guessing.Jakandsig_
You asked for 3DS software sales, and I gave you them. They were great.
you asked for the top 5, I told you that the top five have all sold over 1 million.
The 3DS is selling excellent at this point in time, and there's no denying that. Not only that, the 3DS will begin to sell at a profit as of April. I'm comparing/contrasting sales, which seem to be at a high. approx 33% of 3DS owners own both SM3DL and MK7. It's that simple.
We are talking about profit, the pattern in those software sales with the current situation of Nintendo, it's loss on 3DS is not a good pattern. If the games are only their to accompany the game that moved the console and only 4 sold over 1 million because of it eventually that's going to become the D were software sales will barely bring a profit except for a few games and look at ALL THOSE games on the DS> Selling and profit are not the same thing atm currently with Nintendo. Also selling at a profit? Let me ask you this HOW are they going to sell at a profit with the 3DS? Now take that answer and look at what I wrote before, it makes no sense at all.Listen up. Nintendo is selling their games at a profit, and they're selling their system at a loss as of now. In April, the 3DS will start selling at a profit. The 3DS selling at a loss is not the sole reason for Nintendo's financial troubles at this moment, it's due to the high Yen. Try and find me one Japanese company that isn't struggling. Nintendo is far from the worst.
Also, you do know it takes billions of dollars to R&D for a new console right? You do know Nintendo just finished development for their console alone right? You do know loads of money has to go into launch titles being created, which won't see any profit until they're released (in November) right? It'as not cheap to make a new console. The 3DS selling at a loss is far from being the sole factor in Nintendo's losses.
[QUOTE="D4W1L4H"][QUOTE="Jakandsig_"] No it won;t look at 3DS game sales again, and the top selling game in the top 5 are? And there sales numbers? if the 3DS repeats the DS it will be different because this time the hardware is at a loss and software sells won't cover it. These short term views are whatangers us and keeps affecting Nintendos value in wave like patterns.Jakandsig_

But do you think that the 3DS will really catch on like the DS did later in its life? While the DS started off slow, it became a system with immensely wide appeal. I doubt the 3DS will match the DS in the long run.I'm not saying that the 3DS will outsell the DS in te long run, but at the moment, it's selling extremely well. come April, the system will begin to turn profit for them.
That is an excellent feat on Nintendo's side, and he's trying to pass it off as a failure.
[QUOTE="babycakin"][QUOTE="Jakandsig_"] Come on guy, how many games on the DS sold massive numbers and moved systems? 8?Jakandsig_
things will go back to normal in April for the beginning of the fiscal year, so no worries
