Another IP Square Enix doesn't deserve to hold anymore.
They only care about what's making the most money possible, and even then they're completely stupid about it (ex. FF7 remake taking over a decade to start after being teased on PS3).
And thinking games that sell millions are "commercial failures".
They don't patch many things once it releases and are focusing on mobile and milking their MMOs (which still run on ancient hardware and software).

I will never understand why companies decided to start naming games after games that already existed with the same exact title. Only served to confuse people and make it infinitely harder to look up information about specific titles.
Bad title. Should clearly state War of the Visions, as FFBE is a completely different game; just in the same universe, hence the subtitle. Sure it's stated in the opening sentence, but people read headlines (titles) for quick news, not so much their content.
Either way, game is a tremendous money grab from SE made by incompetent developers who still, despite "3 million downloads", can't program a game so it doesn't crash constantly on every mobile device... or even run at the device's native resolution or framerate.
Bravely Default is a shining pillar of a FFT-like game compared to the trash pile that is WotV.
Even if you emulate it (which most probably need to to even run well), it's stuck with mobile controls, which are horrible and lack any sort of depth or complexity. This ruins most games that try to be more than just a typical 'set and forget' experience.
