You don't change a navigational layout after 7 years of existence without some major backlash, notably from people who struggle with getting used to changes, and power users if it's objectively worse.

Either way, all the 'upgraded' software in recent years has the same old 'material' look and bloated (blown up) design like it's for mobile devices. Contrast between different elements is gone, everything 'floats' in place and is overall worse to navigate.

I don't know what developers are thinking moving along with this trend, but it's just awful.

Never got around to playing the game.. RIP part of the experience when I do.

Why not just remove all the emotes so nobody can be butthurt anymore?

@PrpleTrtleBuBum: Every Win10 update removes more and more of the 'old control panels'.

If you aren't on 20H2 yet, then the old 'properties' menu from 'my computer' is completely gone, replaced with a 'modern' app version, providing less information and making everything harder to do.

In future updates they will completely remove the actual control panel that's been a standard part of Windows since its inception.

They aren't going to listen to the minority of power users who absolutely detest these changes and objectively make the OS harder to work with.

Ah yes, a change to be even worse than the transition to Windows 8, and into more and more of the 'modern' garbage in every new Win10 update.

Companies just never leave things well enough alone.

Because the consoles are deprecated now, and the longer time goes on, the less profit is there to be made from game sales.

Add onto that the holiday rush where everyone's spending on gifts, be it for others or themselves.. So, much, profit.

..but when the game released in the state it did, their entire strategy is moot at this point.

All they had to do was delay it, again.

But instead they didn't want to listen to Shigeru Miyamoto, and made the same exact mistake so many AAA publishers have done in the last decade.

They deliberately shot themselves in the foot and deserve the injury.

Shame on anyone who berated others for saying this would happen before release; the signs were very obvious. Ignorance gets you nowhere in life.
