That makes no sense. It doesnt matter what the install base is when a game is released because the game can and will continue selling. The eventual install base will determine to a much greater degree the number of copies sold. The only way your statement can make sense is if a game only sells when it is released, hence it will be limited to the install base at that time. But we know thats not the case, we know that the PS2 install base grew to a huge 150m units and we also know that GT3 was on sale for all that time, right ? lol

Yes the game was still being sold after GT4, it would have also had a platinum version etc. Stop pretending game stop selling after they are released (rolls eyes). There is no denying that the game was in shops through several christmas holidays on one of the most rapidly expanding install bases a console has seen.

Forza 2 = 9.2

GT1 = 8.5

GT2 = 8.6

GT3 = 9.4

GT4 = 8.9

While I agree gamespot is simply 1 opinion, using gamerankings incorperates reviews from many many biased sites including reviews from playstation magazine etc. Only a handful of sites offer unbiaised reviews (even then I have had my doubts). This skews the results slightly.

If there is a Forza 3 thread mentioning some new feature or new screen shots we can literally set our watches for when you will enter and say something negative. Now donb't get me wrong, I'm all for everyones right to disagree but when you're as consistent as you have been it becomes noticeable to everyone, I mean why is everyone singling you out for it?

We're not stupid and you can try telling us you've made positive comments etc but we all know you're extremely biased against the game. You always downplay every feature and you even use the odd positive comment to sneak 5 more negative comments. Like I said, we're not stupid and we've made our minds up about you...we're pretty sure we know where you're coming from ;)

I was a bit worried about them dumming things down with the game choosing so much but I like the fact that there are still consequences for bad choices. Poor tuning, wrong car etc etc.

Don't kid yourself guys. This is exactly the game Bungie set out to do. A short sp and a new co-op mode. The game didn't magically got any bigger.

The thing is M$ saw they're 09 lineup dwindeling and tought that people will still buy it if they sell it at full price.

If this was EA or Ubisoft then maybe but lets atleast give Bungie the benefit of the doubt here. If they say more content has been added to the extent that its now a full retail game and no so much an expansion then I will atleast take their word for it.

I'm always willing to change my opinion of a given developer but until they give me reason to then I won't.

Im still waiting for consoles to actually do decent amounts of AA, native 1080p at solid 60 frames per second. We were promised a lot at the beginning of this gen and we still havent seen them.

Yes it does. It also helps shut the cows' big mouths when it comes to graphics. Them claiming "grafix king lulz" is considered having a big mouth because it's physically impossible.

I've noticed when it comes to these threads where PS3 fans proclaim "PS3 exclusive#143" to be graphics king,people take great delight in pointing out the obvious i.e crysis is the true graphics king and the consoles can't compare to a gaming rig. Most PS3 owners already know this.Myself included. :|

The crysis spammers and ultra-defensive hermits just make themselves look a little pathetic and desperate to be honest in arguing and trying to "own" deluded fanboys/trolls such as the TC. Save yourselves the effort and ingnore these threads if it really bothers you.

Why dont we write a new sticky for hermits then according to cows and this new sticky will list some new rules that only apply to hermits.
