To those wondering how this particular case involves the 3rd amendment, when the problem comes from the police instead of the military. This would seem to me the exact purpose that the 3rd amendment was written for.
I don't think there is anybody here willing to defend the actions this police department took according to this article. Correct me if I am wrong. However, I ask if this police department broke a specific law? If there was no law that prevents something like this from happening. I think this case needs to be brought to the supreme court for a ruling.
[QUOTE="XilePrincess"]So maybe the big bang didn't happen. So what? It doesn't mean that it's either that or creationism. It's not the only possibility.ThaneKrios28
also note we never did find the exact point of the big bang so it is something to think about
That would be because the Big Bang wasn't exactly an explosion in the sense that we would think an explosion would look like. The Big Bang was simply the point where all matter & space was created. The Universe isn't expanding in the sense that everything is moving away from eachother from a central point, it's that space itself is expanding.
To OP, if your friend is interested. I would point out some material that would explain it in a better way and why it's currently the most sound Theory. Treating him like an idiot wouldn't be a very constructive way to go about.
With all this talk about gun shows being a favorite place to buy guns amongst felons. We need to ask ourselves how felons are getting their guns to use in crimes. Gun shows account for a very small percentage I believe. The vast majority of felons obtain their guns illegally through straw purchases.
