I got an 80gig and have several saves and add-ons, and even reserved 10gigs for trying to set up other operating systems, and it's not even half used. Though, if all you're ever going to use it for is game saves, then 60gigs ought to do ya just fine.

:O Hows the interface. Am i going to have some gay cartoon character av when i get one.? DO all of them have built in Wifi right now with a web browser that i can actually view videos on?

Psh! If you want to watch videos, use a computer, since they can all do it better than Any. Console. Ever. Besides, there are plenty of sites where you can download and watch anime and movies for free, making any marketplace related video download a waste of money (unless, of course, it's already free).

Well first off you you can store all your gamesaves onto a flashdrive. Then once you get a new Harddrive then you recover your profile and redownload any DLC,game add ons, videos etc,etc you had from the PS Store

Instructions

Here is a guide on how to upgrade your PS3 Hard drive from Gamespot.

You just took all the fun out of being a technologically minded helpful soul (i.e. I was gonna say that! GRR!) lolol

Well you can always add your own personal spin to being helpful.

Yeah, but all there is to say is "Move your saves to a portable USB device then swap drives and put saves back." which you already said. Not exactly rocket science. Besides, I'm too lazy to get descriptive. lol

Look for the best deals, or go to a pawn shop/eBay. That's really all the advice I can give, since the price won't be dropping by more than $50 aaaaaany time soon.

Oh **** YEAH! Too bad Legend of Dragoon was such a diamond in the rough (i.e. nobody knew it existed save those who really looked). Didn't get enough sales.....

I judge a system very strictly on the following: Graphics power, game titles, loading speed, requirements for online, base price, availability in stores, ease of use for new gamers, customer support & response time if console is broken, and available memory in a standard package. Having all three next gen consoles and having played at least 1 game that was released on 2 or more consoles, I spent no less than 5 months playing them all and writing down all of the good and bad. Sadly, this is how the PS3 fared: Best: Xbox 360 Second place: Wii Least likely to appease the average gamer: PS3 Fact: The PS3 has the best graphics, processing power, and all that noise. Fact: The PS3 does NOT have enough good and cheap titles to keep up with the competition. Opinion: The PS3's ability to surf the web with no add-ons is neat, but my friend's old hunk of crap of a PC puts the PS3's web browser and RAM to shame. I have nothing against Sony or the PS3, but if they would just take their heads out of their ***es and started getting the good titles and being more user friendly, they wouldn't be so far behind Microsoft.

Um, do you have Live? That makes a huge difference to which games are really fun. Fable 2 I recommend, but not so much to go online with (unless you're addicted to getting achievements). Too many noobs who just join, kill EVERYTHING, then leave. Saint's Row 2 is really good, and gets even better when played with a friend (supposing neither is cheating, that just ruins the sense of accomplishment).

There won't be any problem, since, having downloaded the game to HDD, the only reason you need a disc at all is so the 360 can verify that YES, you still have a legal copy.
