Ned off the air.....What is there for Nick?

Alright so Ned's Declassified ended this Saturday with it's hour long special. Which is pretty good but now the question remains what else is left for the Nick network? I mean seriously Ned was the last good show they had because it was entertaining and actually seemed to have some intelligence in it compared to the other shows in the network. Well now that the show is finally over I really have nothing interesting left to watch in Nick. Why? Because Nick has decided to completely screw over their fans for television that lacks any intelligent quantity and actually making gets dumber. Afraid to take anything to the High School or College Level, Nick relies on dumbing down its viewers with ridiculous bathroom jokes and juvenile humor that may'be a 3rd grader might find funny. I remember when Nick had some intelligence (though juvenile) with shows like Ren and Stimpy, Doug, Hey Arnold, The Fairly OddParents (when it came out), Are you afraid of the Dark, Kenan and Kel, The Original All That, Spongebob, Jimmy Neutron and now well we get pretty much is tween television that is so terrible it makes you think what the executives at Nick are thinking.

Not to beat it out of Nick, but Disney Channel also has not made a single good show in quite some time and most of their programs are just dull of blown tween garbage. As for Cartoon Network their shows are just barbarically lame and their cartoons haven't been the same since they lost Dexter's Lab and their gems of shows they had in the 90's. At-least bring back Hanna Barbara cartoons of the 60's, 70's and 80's those were pretty good. Now we get this Billy and Mandy junk that is so un-entertaining it just makes you want to take a baseball bat and smash your own TV.

What happened to kid's cartoons? I remember having a good time watching Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Beast Wars, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain as a kid. I thought those shows were funny not beause they relied on idiotic humor but because they sophisiticated their humor for a kid's show. Some shows like Spongebob do that right now, but let's face it Spongebob is getting a little repetitive and really no longer the Crown Jewel of the Nick network . Overall I have no reason to watch any cartoons except anime because Nick sucks, Disney Channel sucks and CN sucks. Come on people give us some creativity!

Davulture is Back!

It hasn't quite been over a year since I last was on these forums but it's been a while for those of you who briefly remember me. Well since I left in early August, I've been working with the school to try to improve my grades and trying to search for myself as a person. I realized alot of things have happened since I left such as Heroes (Just checked that show out recenty), and on sadder notes the death of the Croc Hunter (which I returned to pay tribute), and of course the sad Virginia Tech Massacres. On a briefly brighter note my studies are over, I passed my finals with succession and ready to head off to college! Alright!! And well it's official "I'm Back."

Goodbye, Everybody I've got to go.

I'd like to set this post to say I'm leaving Saturday. I like everyone on the forum but in the classic words of Freddie Mercury from Bohemian Rhapsody, "Goodbye Everybody, I've got to go." Saturday will be my last day.

I'm grateful that I've got to know so many good people on this forum, however I've got studying to take care of and am going to busy with work, and well I'm going to have to give up tv.com for a while. I probably won't be on again for a year or so, and hopefully you'll remember me by then. Lol.

And I'll be honest, I'm an idiot. I've gotten itno alot of idiotic arguements, where I usually admit my defeat but I've learned alot about maturity from these forums.

I'm deeply sorry, for anybody I've irritated or annoyed. And well I admit defeat. I'll be off by Saturday Night, because Sunday and Monday I've got work to take care of. Thank you, for being my friends, and in some aspects like a 2nd family.

 Farewell:

Gnarls Barkley mke me CRAZY

Listen, music has been bleak for a couple of years right now, So I'm advising anyone who likes new things to check out Gnarls Barkley. They are easily one of the best and "Original" Groups around right now. They are sort of like a Funk/Rock/Soul band formed by Danger Mouse and Cee-lo. Check out their hit Crazy!!! It's a great song and gets stuck in your head. I hope they win a couple of grammys this year, including best song of the year. Although I think it's unlikely. But hey! They have the best song of the summer!! Check it out!!!! On youtube.

Why the 90's were great

I miss the 90's, there are so many words that you can use to describe the 90's and people will know what your talking about. Here are my favorite memories from the 90's, Seinfeld, TGIF, Boy Meets World, Urkel, Tomagachi, Pokemon, Nirvana, ER, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Michael Jordan... Other thoughts on why the 90's ruled!

BMW vs. Saved by The Bell (original)

This is a great battle here. Two of the most popular teen shows of all time. Although I'm going to say Saved By The Bell is more popular. I mean it's a show that defined Teen Sitcoms. Although Boy Meets World was a much deeper show. It dealt with society in a more spiritual level. Which is something really profound. The only Saved By the Bell episode I can think of that actually didn't depend on zany humor is the one where Jessie get's drugged. Plus I'm an active member of the BMW forum, so I'm going to hand it down to Boy Meets World. Any other thoughts?

Naruto Fillers

Enough with em, I just saw Naruto ep 196 and though it had some good points, the episode in total really sucked. Naruto in my book ended at ep 135 with the Sasuke Retrieval Arc (which was okay). Listen Naruto isn't the greatest anime of all time, nor is it in the Top 5. Though I like the show, there are a bunch of problems with it. First of all the obvious, way to many fillers. I understand that the anime is catching up with the anime, but if the Naruto creators want to keep their fan base then stop the fillers. The second problem is the stupid flashbacks, they are way to long and unneccesary during battle. Yes may'be one, but the flashbacks overplay the battle and the battle's momentum is halted. The third problem I have with Naruto is the dub, which I guess I can live with. That's about it.

Goku would kick Superman's ass.

I think Goku would have to atleast be Super Saiyan 2 to kick Superman's ass. Goku as a regular super saiyan can lift 10 000 000 000 tons. Superman can lift 2 billion tons, so it will take GOku to go to Super Saiyan 2 or 3 to beat Superman, but seeig as Superman's no Buu, Goku would go to Super Saiyan 2. Goku's ability to turn Super Saiyan and his instant transmission will allow to dodge Superman's blows. Superman will punch Goku in the face but his blows will be to weak to a Super Saiyan to damage them. Goku will then grab Superman by the neck and drag his face against the rocks. Superman will be out of energy an then Goku will punch him till he bleeds. Superman is just lying on the ground unconscious and Goku will wrap it up with a mega ultra kamehameha to the body. Superman's inability to withstand the energy will ultimately take his life. Superman's body won't disappear but he will be lying on the floor unconscious with blood dripping. Goku woudl smile and say, "I'll bring him back and train with him!"

Should be a 24 hour 4kids television network

I love anime and I figure that there should be atleast a 24 hour 4kids television station. I like the majority of the anime's they have but although I don't like the way they dub it, I would like if they had a 24 hour 4kids television station. Seeing as they are quite possibly the only company who might be able to actually do it. If 4kids had it's own television network then may'be Funimation could have one to and then so on and so on. I wish there was another 24 hour cartoon only channel that featured the cartoons that Cartoon Network doesn't regularly show.

Quite Frankly this stinks.

If you checked out Stephen A. Smith's new tv show you'll realize how lame it is. In the first episode they got Allen Iverson, no question Iverson's one of the best players in the league but Stephen A. Smith spend atleast 45 minutes talking to him. I wanted tos see Stephen A. Smith diss people and stuff like he does on Sportscenter or Nba Fastbreak. This show was a major disappointment. It was to much like Oprah, then like a sportshow. I like the fact he has a studio audience but seriously he needs to like spend atleast a half hour talking about the major headlines in sports. Quite Frankly is the total opposite of the promo, Stephen has some how become Oprah, instead of himself. I mean this guy is funny, I saw him diss Bill Walton one time during Nba shoot around, almost made Walton cry. I felt bad for Walton, but Stephen A. Smith also at the same time made me crack up dying with laughter. I wish that he did what Around the Horn and PTI does, and talk about sports instead of spending an hour on athlethes and their personal side. Really a big disappointment.
