@adjsaint Simply hilarious.
And disturbing at the same time.

Well, that's just funny. It now actually looks like 'Just Cause 2' in multiple ways. -_- Looks like they've taken my advice. Haha. I mean, it's a good thing though.
But for the rest it looks like they've retained the charms in terms of story-telling, scenes and characters, and improved and expanded the gameplay. Cause it looks like the gameplay is much deeper and varied, which is good.

But, I think the PC-version might already be troubled by one single thing; It seems that it makes use of those "radial" menus for the weapons or items. That crap was invented to work with gamepads (consoles of course) and one of the few games it actually works well with is Battlefield (ironically). I really hope that it will work like the recent Batman-games, that once you use the keyboard+mouse-setup it switches to simply pressing buttons (like the numbers) for the weapons or items. Rockstar should really optimize their stuff for PCs and not just port and release it.

I'm looking forward to this though, cause it seems a lot of fun, more fun than "GTAIV" which I just had to mod the heck out of to enjoy after finishing the story. The best thing about it were the scenes/characters/dialogues, which are just top-notch, the gameplay not so much, OK but just nothing special. Seems like Rockstar heard us.

I really hope that the PC-version of "GTAV" will be optimized, as opposed to "GTAIV" barely at all. But since there of course will be a PS4-version, which is apparently built more like a PC (the PS4, I mean), there might be less of an issue for a PC-port.

If "GTAV" won't come to PC, I'll probaly never play it. "GTAIV" was clearly made to play with a controller, but I really prefer using a mouse for aiming, and it makes it more fun than auto-aiming as well

I've also wanted to play 'Red Dead Redemption' on the PC, and I guess I kinda refused it for the PS3... But I thought Rocktar were morons for not releasing it on PC, I'm sure people that don't have a console would love it, and it would probably generate modding-communities as well, which is fun.

For the rest, I just hope the gameplay for "GTAV" is just better than that of "IV". I should check that gameplay-video of course. :)

@hiverious Still, a 6 seems incorrect for this game. It's not a matter of opinion, cause a rating should be added up fairly. And it should weigh in to your decision of a purchase (although not completely), why else would there be a rating? I think the summed up score from users usually makes more sense, which is about a 7.4 right now.
I also can't believe that some games get such high scores on this website. Like 10s for I think it was GTAIV and MGS4?... Come on. Perfect? Seriously? I call BS and corruption...

@setiaboedi Wow, then your PC must be crappy. I mean, it doesn't fit on your drive?... It's either too full or just THAT tiny.

@edgewalker16 Exactly. Maybe even like 7.5. That's still 75% positive. Only 60% positive? I don't think so.

Also, if these writers think it's only going to be "Indiana Jones", they're not seeing the essence of the games, and someone else should write it. Cause if someone doesn't see how to make it like the game, to make it have the same essence and feel, they will indeed mess it up and it might come off as an "Indiana Jones" rip-off. In effect, they're admitting they can't pull it off and they should also drop it, I feel.

@Randomisrandom

Exactly. I wouldn't know why they let the franchise into the hands of someone else. It's not like the original writers are retired or anything, so why wouldn't they come up with the movie-version?? And Seth Rogen?? What the hell...
This movie should be a lot closer to home and not some kind of "3rd party" (so to speak) production which might not know how to get close enough to the feel and style of the franchise. That's what I'm afraid of most, that it's just like a Hollywoodized version of the game that only has similarities, as we tend to get with adaptations. I'd much rather have it be a low-budget independent film, because those usually try to push their limits in any aspect and out of that usually comes something unique and successful.

Oh man, I fear so much this will be messed up... AGAIN...

I can see what you mean with Josh Radnor, but I also feel he's a bit too much of a sleek babyface. I think it would look kind of funny if he's trying to be this badass brawler of a guy. Now... Nathan Fillion, who is getting a bit old for the part, he has the stature for it. I mean, let Josh Radnor try to beat up Nathan Fillion in real life, that's just funny, unless Radnor has some Martial Arts chops down. Cause Nathan Fillion is a big guy and he's totally believable as this bear of an adventure-guy that Nathan Drake is.

Besides, in a recent interview Fillion mentioned he's still looking for adventure, so he definitely seems up for a more adventurous role and he's said before (some years ago) he wanted to play Nathan Drake. I really hope it would be him. Cause he has the look, perfect for a movie-version of Drake, he has the physicality, especially if they whip him into shape, and he has the same kind of character and humor as Nolan North brought to the character.

To be honest, I don't think it matters if it's an older actor, the character isn't necessarily "young and fresh" to begin with. And Nathan Fillion can pass for mid to late '30s, it doesn't matter how old he IS or what it says on the papers. I just think he's the right guy and right now is the time and not in 5 to 10 years for a first movie.

@ChristysXmas @Shin_Gallon

Nah, I feel that THIS is the time for him to play it. Any later and it's just not that plausible anymore...
