I figured I might as well post this on TV.com as well as fanfiction. I had to censor a word, but fanfiction let me add it. :? Enjoy! :D
NOTE: OK, I do not own Titanic, this story is all fan made. Except for Analiese and related characters, I do own them. Anyway, I love Fabrizio De Rossi (HE'S GORGEOUS!!!), and I decided he needs a love story made about him, considering most of the stories about him on here are poems or rather... odd. No offense to you people!!! Anyway, do you guys remember that guy named Spicer Lovejoy from the movie? In the words of George Lopez, "You 'member, 'member?" Anyway, I really liked his name, so that is why Charlie's, who I own, last name is Spicer. :P One more thing. I realize that Fabrizio falls in love with that one lady who is only in a very short scene, I believe her name is Helga, but I don't care, Helga does not get him in my fanfiction! Sort of like that picture I drew in Social Studies of me bashing Hermione with a hammer and stealing Ron from her...
"Here we go, Sweet Pea!" Charlie Spicer said as he opened the car door for his niece, Analiese Churchill. He held out his hand and helped her step down.
"Thank you, Uncle Charlie!" The golden haired 17-year-old responded with that warm, toothy smile of hers. He gave her a little pat on the head.
"I'll go help you mother get out of the Buggy. Can you manage the luggage on your own?" Charlie asked. Analiese gave him her signature wink and salute.
"I'll see what I can do." She turned on her flat, white, shoes and marched to the rear of the car, while Charlie made his way to the other side to assist Analiese's mother, his baby sister.
"Now let's see..." Analiese said to herself as she looked upon the luggage. The upperclassmen, or as Analiese liked to call them, "the fancy folk", had nice, lavish, brand new cars. The car, nicknamed the Buggy, Analiese and her family were riding in actually belonged to Uncle Charlie. However, she was getting older everyday. The tires where in pitiful shape, the headlights were almost broken, and the engine tended to sputter a lot when she didn't feel like budging. The old car certainly had a mind of her own. However ragged she may be, there were a lot of fond memories inside of her.
For instance, Violet, Analiese's mother, had given birth to both her son, and later her daughter in the back of the Buggy. Analiese's brother Edward, five years her senior, had left for America two years ago to create a new life for himself. He made sure to write his family every week, and three weeks ago, he had requested that they come to America to live with him and his new bride, Laura. Inside the letter, Edward enclosed three third class tickets for the RMS Titanic. Of course, Violet jumped at the chance to see her son again, so Charlie sold his pastry shop, and the family packed their bags.
Since they were going to America, Charlie planned to leave his beloved Buggy behind. He had sold her to Benjamin Creighton, an elderly neighbor who needed a cheap car and lived just down the street. The kind old man had promised to take good care of her.
Analiese found her back containing her clothes, some books, and her beloved teddy bear, Henry, named for her father. Henry Churchill had been a skilled sailor. One day, when Analiese was 7, he had to go away on a long voyage. Henry gave everyone a present to remember him by until he came back. Except for Uncle Charlie, who didn't live with them yet. For Edward, he had given the boy a wooden slingshot. Even though he was a grown man, when Edward left for America, that was one of the few items he brought along with him. For Violet, Henry's gift to his wife was a locket that when opened showed his face on one side, and on the other said, "Forever". She never took it off. Even on the day she would die, they would bury her in it. And of course for little Analiese, her present was a teddy bear, who she named Henry and slept with every night.
As fate would have it, Henry's crew would encounter some peril. Apparently, his ship, the SS Lilly Pad, had struck and ice burg and sank to the bottom of the Atlantic, never to be seen by the eyes of the world above again. Of course, the family was devastated, and since Violet was a housewife and mother, they had no one to care for them. Violet's older brother, Charlie Spicer, had no family of his own, and agreed to come and live with his sister and her children. The four of them lived happily in their snug home, until Edward left for America. He was able to afford his trip by working in Uncle Charlie's pastry shop, which was one of the best in the whole city of London. But now their new life lay ahead of them, and Analiese was curious as to what it would hold for them. Grabbing Uncle Charlie's and her mother's bags as well, she closed the trunk of the Buggy and made her way to the side of the car.
"Ah, Ana!" Violet said, using the girl's nickname. "Thank you for fetching our bags, dear." With a smile as warm as her daughters, Violet took her own bag and handed Charlie's to him. The three turned to look at the mighty Titanic.
"She's the biggest ship I've ever seen!" Analiese exclaimed as she brushed a stand of hair out of her sapphire colored eyes. Being a sailor's daughter, she had seen many ships in her lifetime.
"They say it's unsinkable!" Uncle Charlie said with pride. A classy looking man nearby said to a red haired girl about Analiese's age,
"God himself couldn't sink this ship!" Violet rolled her eyes at the comment.
"Well I should hope it would be unsinkable," Analiese said quietly. She wasn't afraid of many things, but being in a shipwreck was on of them. And it was all because of her father's fate. As if she was reading the girl's mind, Violet put a hand on her daughter's shoulder and gave it a light squeeze.
Fabrizio eyed Jack carefully. His idiot of a best friend was betting everything they had on a stupid game of poker! Of course, "everything" was just a handful of change, but it was all that was left. He had told Jack himself that this wasn't going to work, but Jack just smiled and said,
"When you've got nothing to bet, you've got nothing to lose!" Fabrizio rolled his eyes and took another sip of his beer. Jack better have some good cards, because his were totally worthless. Sven, one of the men they were playing against, had just bet two third class tickets for the RMS Titanic. Olaf, Sven's partner, muttered something in a foreign language. Jack gave a sly smile, and said it was time to show the cards. First was Fabrizio. He sighed and laid his cards down.
"Nothing?" Jack asked.
"Nothing."
"Sven?" Jack asked. Oh, this wasn't good. Luckily, he had cards worse than Fabrizio.
"Olaf?" His cards were decent. Fabrizio was biting his nails now. Jack sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. The moment of truth.
"I'm sorry Fabrizio..." Fabrizio began to swear in Italian. Jack gave him a look. "I'm sorry because you're not going to see your momma for a long time because we're going to America! Full house!" Jack slammed his cards down onto the table and he and Fabrizio began to dance around the bar. That is, until the bartender said,
"Titanic leaves for America in 5 minutes!" Jack turned to Fabrizio with wide eyes and they began to slide all of the money into a sack. Olaf grabbed Jack by the collar, and looked as if he were about to pummel him. Jack closed his eyes and waited for the impact, but the man punched Sven instead. Fabrizio grabbed the tickets and they bolted for the large ship outside. When they reached the entrance, Jack did some fast talking and convinced the man they had both had been through the health inspection.
"We don't have lice. We're Americans. Both of us!" Surprisingly, the man fell for it, even though Fabrizio De Rossi was obviously Italian. The two men ran into the giant ship, with Jack shouting,
"We're the luckiest sons of b*tches alive!" They made their way to the top of the ship, where the passengers where waving goodbye to their family and friends. Jack immediately began calling goodbye to someone.
"Do you know any-a-body?" Fabrizio asked in his heavy Italian accent.
"Of course not," Jack replied. "But that's not the point." Fabrizio joined in.
"Goodbye! I'll-a never forget you!"
After saying their goodbyes to people they did not know, Fabrizio and Jack began the hunt for their room. As they explored the third class hallway, they found their cabin, which was quite small. A bunk bed was one each side of the cramped room, and a bathroom into the back. Jack, being as friendly as he was, went around and introduced himself to everyone. Grasping his chance, Fabrizio climbed into the top bunk. His life had just changed in a short 20 minutes. Who knew it would be this exciting?
