Aloha Everyone! :)
Has anyone noticed that the queue system is on the blink at TV.com? I noticed that I had 3 submissions in my queue, then all of the sudden there are no subs. I also noticed submission that never been in my queue are appearing when they were made over 4 or 5 days ago. I wonder if submission are going into the master queue, then later appear in editor queues when staff realize the show has an editor so they have to put them in our queues to be moderated. To make a long story short about how I noticed this was that I received a submission today that was made4 days agofor a new episode. The submitter provided a source (name of site) but really didn't give the exact place to find the info. Therefore, I had to go to that site to try and find it. When I came back to try to approve/reject it, the sub was gone.
In other news, I received 3 new emblems at GameSpot for watching the live feeds of Microsoft (yesterday), Nintendo (today)and Sony (today) news conferences. Microsoft is releasing a special edition system for Halo 3 and new remote for a a game called Scene It. Nintendo is releasing a Wii Balance Board which is neat for a game called WiiFit. That game is a fitness game. Sony announced a price drop for the PSP and releasing a lighter PSP. All systems: XBOX 360, Wii, DS, PS3, and PSP are going to have some really good games that are coming out.
Enough of that...anyway...if you are an editor would you reject a submission that follows the guidelines for adding a new episode if the submitter provided all 3 (Title, Summary, and Air Date with source), over another user who made a submission before you but only provided the title and air date? Reason is, I received a rejected submission again froman editor that I had issues with before. My sub again contained all 3, but the editor rejected itbecause someoneelse submitted it before me but their sub only had 2 out of 3. Note: I'm not mad at the other submitter, as I did contact that person since the editor did mention the user in the rejection. I contacted the other user to make sure the editor was actually telling the truth considering what happened previously. Thanks goodness Jaxie is contacting the editor of the guidelines since what he/she did should not have happened.
Anyway...thanks for stopping and have a wonderful day! :)
