I think the idea of having to have a constant online internet connection is a terrible idea, but to say that this is part of some larger government conspiracy is not only pure conjecture but is also just plain stupid.
I can see how people might be offended by this because it is a bit sexist, but at the same time, this game is already going to be inherently offensive to those type of people anyway, even without the achievement. This kind of thing just seems to come with the territory. If you are looking for wholesome entertainment, playing God of War probably isn't the best choice of games. Censoring small snippets of this game accomplishes nothing.
Great game, but to be honest, a lot of the additions they have been putting in lately have been steps backwards. Things like fractal of the mists and its corresponding gear treadmill actually push away a lot of gamers, myself included. They really should focus on fixing certain classes before they start adding all this new content.
In Japan, people do call people by their last names. I have a co-worker whose last name is Sakurai, and I don't think I have ever heard her called by her first name.
I tried watching this on my iphone. I get about 5 seconds of video before the video cuts out and all I get is the sound. Anyone else having this problem?
@Tribesmaster @jesus_knight I think what put the nail in the coffin for me was the complete absence of coverage of the release of Pandora's Tower. It was enraging not because that game is particularly noteworthy, but because it proved that Operation Rainfall, a gamer initiated campaign, worked. This should have been monumental news to the gaming community, and Gamespot didn't say a word about it. I only found out this game was even being released in NA on accident. But apparently Gamespot's new philosphy is that "e-sports" > real news.
@alphardxyz @Darth_Tyrranus @thequickshooter Look, I've been coming to Gamespot a lot longer than you have, as evidenced by your user level, and to be honest, there has been a pretty bad decline in the quality of reporting over the past decade. A lot of other people have also voiced their dissatisfaction with Gamespot, so I don't see why it's unreasonable to ask what other websites they recommend. If you don't have any intention of answering my question, don't bother writing again. Thank you.
