I need some help before I throw my PC across the room! My computer won't turn on! There is a little green LED on the motherboard that I can see is lit, but when I try to turn it on...nothing.

Right now I can't get to the box that has all the computer info in it (mobo, memory, power supply type) but if I need to give that info out I can tomorrow. I was just surfing on my other PC and wanted to ask. Has anybody heard of this problem? I'm pretty sure there's power to the system, and occasionally I can get it to turn on, just not regularly. Any help would be appreciated, since then I can quit reading about games and actually play them!

Thanks everyone for your responses. I will definitely go by the local stores and see what's on sale and already been discounted. Can't wait for a "Gamer's Choice" line of 360 games like they had for the PS2 and original Xbox.

I'm also glad to see that I can have a free month of Gold service too!

Have a great day!

Hey everyone! I have three quick questions and would appreciate any help you can give me.

1. My brother got a new Xbox 360 for Christmas (yay!) and wants to start his free month of Live Gold. Is there a place in the box that we need to find some code for him to enter? We haven't connected it online yet, so if the directions are given there just let me know please.

2.Since Live Silver is free, can I have an account toowithout actually owning a console? Mainly I would use my account to get updates and demo's, not to play online.

3. What older (read: cheaper) games are good to get? He has COD4 and NCAA football "08", along with the pack-in games. I saw that COD2 was only $20. Are there any good discounted games to get if we like shooters, sports, and RPG's (I have Oblivion on my PC so I'm not paying for that one again)?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your ideas everyone, I really appreciate the input!  Is Samurai Warriors like Dynasty Warriors?  If anyone else wants to jump on this list I would appreciate it.  I'm already checking the mentioned titles on Gamespot.  Have a great day!

Hey Everyone! I have had my PSP for a long time now and I only have one game! I bought the system when Media Play left Georgia (I almost cried) and they had a big sale and also I needed to unload a TON of gift cards and reward points! I'm tired of leaving it in my closet and I doubt I would get much in trade-in now. So what games would you (experts) recommend? The game I already have is Legendary Warriors or something like that. It's an old game. The types of games I like are RPG's like the Dragon Warrior series where the emphasis is more on thinking and reacting than action. But then I do enjoy action RPG's too. I would be interested in a game where I can sit and play for a while rather than just a quickie (lol although I DO enjoy the occasional quickie ;) ). I liked the Castlevania series on my GBA SP until I got stuck and couldn't advance anymore. I'm really disappointed with the whole PSP control setup, I wish it had a stick! But I guess that's another topic altogether. The reason I bring that up is because if the controls stink, I'm not interested! So please help me and let me know which games are fun! Thank you!
