Used games is just another way that they can control the consumer. EA likes control, so of course they want it.

I'm still calling this issue a baiting match between Sony and Microsoft. Who is dumb enough to actually do it? If not, Nintendo it is

I've never preordered a game in my life. The reason being is that I can hold on to my damn money for more than five seconds after I get my paycheck. There is no reason to ever buy a game when it first comes out, because there is no way that anyone has enough time on their hands to have beaten every good game that is already on the market, probably at a cheaper price. I still haven't gotten games like saints row 3, or mw3, or Skyrim. Those games alone will be able to keep me going past this time of next year, and there are dozens of other games I have on my list. Don't blame the stores for trying to sell you stuff, and don't blame game companies for trying to make a profit. Blame yourself, because without the consumer, there is no game industry. If you want control over the gaming industry, stop buying and get others to stop buying. We have more control than we think, we just don't know how to use it.

1 thing I don't like is the fact they they seem to be moving on before the current generation, is at its peak. There are still many solvable issues with the current systems, that should be perfected upon before the next gen appears. I firmly believe that the PS2 was pushed about as far as it could go. The PS3 came along soon after. I think the PS3 and 360 have more room for improvement, especially in the motion gaming stuff. The fact that we can't play MW3 using the kinect or move is stupid, especially since the wii has done it. Games like time crisis or house of the dead existed back in the 90's and yet those games were never improved on? WTF? Those arcade games were almost as fun as the best games now.

If it really is that bad off, it should fall. That's capitalism at its finest. No bail outs for you!
