So yeah I'm going to be trading my version in (thankfully I had too much on my plate to really get into the game when I bought it at launch last year) and buy this then play the full game.

I haven't seen anything to have me believe otherwise. And what I was saying is KI all you have to do is buy a character if you want to try out the game then buy it for 40 bucks and there you go. Namco abuses the shit out of dlc and stuff like this though so this is likely going to be bad.
