The OCZ stealthXstream and the GameXtream are based on the FSP Epsilon. It is an alright PS aslong as you don't overload it since you will have problems with harmonics (variations in voltage that damage electronic components). I would say go for it but if you are going to tax it then consider getting a better Seasonic based PS like the Corsair 620W.

Even though Halo's multiplayer is really good its single player campaign is very weak. Something people might come to realise is that if you make a list of your favorite games and the games you think were the best you played you would notice that the lists would be very different. What i am trying to say is even though Halo 3 was very very fun there are games that are better like Bioshock.

You can't compare the Cell and the Core2 architecture just like that. Benchmarks like these fool people just like how people always went with chips with the highest GHZ number rather than knowing the architecure. Keep in mind that the Cell like architecure is the future of CPU's. Intel Larabee will be similar and will own in Ray tracing.

If you do a little research you would notice that a lot of people are having their 6800 series GPU's fail on them. Its good you went with BFG and you get lifetime warranty. I am pretty sure they will send you a 8600GT as a replacement.

You should wait till ATI and Nvidia launch their new cards. ATi's offering should be launching in November and Nvidia's in the end of this month. It will be real interesting to see how well The RV670 and 8800GT perform.

Halo is a decent game single player wise and has an excellent multiplayer for a console game. But when compared to what PC shooters offer the Halo series will feel lackluster in comparison.

If Pc gaming dies it would be because of the really high prices of video cards. These prices are really getting out of hand. I was really shocked when the 8800Ultra came out at $800.

I am mostly a PC gamer but sometimes play games on consoles. To be honest i really haven't played Metroid Prime 3 yet but imo Metroid Prime 1 is simply the best game ever created. There was something about that game that is unmatched by other games. There was a deep feeling that you are all alone in this world and the exploration and some of the music are unmatched. There was so much detail in this game that i really was impressed by how well the feeling of being lonely was done and this feeling of being lonely is spoilt by adding multiplayer support. This also lead to people hating the game since its more of an adventure/exploration/non tipical shooter that just a run and gun shooter like Halo. Halo on the other hand has a kinda so so single player but the multiplayer is alright. But if you think a game like Halo is the best ever created then my suggestion is to play more games on other platforms. Its true that everyone has an opinion but i don't know how people can categorize Halo as the best ever!!!

The multiplayer in Halo 3 is good. Most PC Gamers like myself find it a bit boring because Pc shooters have much more intense battles and better multiplayer modes. I personally love battles with 64 players in BF2 since it makes you feel like you are really in a battle. I always found console shootes to be slower in pace than Pc shooters and this is why I think console gamers feel that 16 players is epic. Halo 3 is still a fun game to play once in a while.
