Wow, you're dense. I'm talking about the same thing you are. For example, removing the redundant data from FF7 makes it fit comfortably on 2 discs, instead of filling 3. PSN games are smaller than their originals because of this very fact. PSN games are only packaged and then decrypted like someone else said. A PC game is perfectly capable of, not only not having to be installed, but being played during installation. It just takes special attention.
