This is the fourth time I've attempted this blog, and I swear, it will not be deleted again. I've copied, err...been inspired by other CNET users to make this blog. Here are the credits

Bands/Guitar Solos That Kick Bottom- Elmis

Name the Song- Sharky

So I'll get started quickly.

MOVIES

Ratatouille

Image:RatatouillePoster2.jpg

Score 10/10

Quick Review: Ratatouille is simply put, one of the greatest, funniest, most clever movies I've ever seen. The animation is beautiful, the characters are very likeable, and the storyline is one of the most creative to date. A great movie.

Transformers

Image:Transformers07.jpg

Score 8/10

Quick Review: This movie was nothing humongous and amazing, but it was entertaining and very fun. The plot was cool and clear, and made it more interesting. A good movie to watch if you have some spare time on your hands and don't know what to do with it. Good movie.

Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix

Image:HP1.jpg

Score 9/10

Quick Review: A very good movie that stays true to the book. Nothing beats a cool plot with amazing special effects. The only reason it receives a 9 rather than a 10 is because I already know the story so I can't say it was unexpected or new or anything.

Now that I've reviewed the movies, I'll move on to...

BANDS THAT KICK BOTTOM

Bad Religion- My favorite punk band, and second favorite band overall. They have a keen sense of melody, with punk rage and old-school rock guitar sound.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 10

Badassness Factor: 10

Bob Marley and The Wailers- Reggae would've been nothing without Bob. The best reggae band ever, with cool guitars added to it. They kick many bottoms, but arent very badass.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 10

Badassness Factor: 7

Chuck Berry- One of the greatest guitarists of all time. Great songs like "Johnny B. Goode" and "Roll Over Beethoven" make him hard to dislike.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 9

Badasness Factor: 8

The Clash- Very badass, and very bottom kicking. Such cool music is impossible to turn down.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 9

Badassness Factor: 9

Foo Fighters- It's rare for a member of a formerly monster band to recoop after his band has fallen apart and start a new one that is actually good. However, somehow, Dave Grohl did it.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 10

Badassness Factor: 9

Jack Johnson- The best soft rock musician ever. I've always loved his music, and always will.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 10

Badassness Factor: 7

The Jimi Hendrix Experience-Where do I begin? He's Jimi Hendrix, that's explanation enough.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 10

Badassness Factor: 10

Nirvana- Grunge's greatest band. They wrote the book on grunge, and wrote "Smells Like Teen Spirit, which has been called "The national anthem of grunge."

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 10

Badassness Factor: 10

Pearl Jam- I only own one CD by them, but they can rock.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 8

Badassness Factor: 8

Pennywise-One of '90s punk's greatest bands. Good skate punk dominates almost everything else.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 8

Badassness Factor: 10

Red Hot Chili Peppers- My favorite band. They're RHCP, can that be enough to say?

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 10

Badassness Factor: 10

Smashing Pumpkins- Defines alternative music. Billy Corgan is the best songwriter of the '90s and '00s.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 10

Badassness Factor: 10

Social Distortion- Such a different kind of punk, it's weird. So weird, it kicks bottom. Kind of like punk with slight reminiscence of roots rock and country in it, but not to the point where it is that obvious.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 10

Badassness Factor: 10

Sublime- What defines Sublime? What genre is it? These can be answered by one word: "skunk" (ska and punk). So different it kicks a thousand bottoms.

Bottom Kickingness Factor: 9

Badassness Factor: 9

That covers it, now for:

GUITAR SOLOS THAT KICK BOTTOM: IN ORDER OF KICKINGNESS

Voodoo Child (Slight Return)- My very favorite guitar solo, It's Hendrix's apex.

All Along the Watchtower- Hendrix's other apex.

Funky Monks- John Frusciante at his best.

Eruption- One of the only Van Halen songs I like alot.

Geek U.S.A.- Billy Corgan's best solo by far.

I Could Have Lied- The best slow solo I've ever heard.

All There Is- Brian Baker's best solo, as well as Bad Religion's best.

Tarantula- The coolest sounding Pumpkin's solo.

Fight Like A Brave- We all miss Slim and his funkiness.

Don't Take Me For Granted- Mike Ness is an underrated guitarist.

Burning of The Midnight Lamp- A cool wah solo.

The Wind Cries Mary- Hendrix. That's all that need be said.

Higher Ground- While RHCP's cover doesn't have a true guitar solo, it can't be denied that those riffs are very soloish and bottom kicking.

Fire- Surprise! Not Hendrix's version. Red Hot Chili Peppers play a much better solo for this song.

Purple Haze- Cool octave effect, and Hendrix.

Now you know everything you need to know about music, so know, it's time for

GUESS THAT SONG

I give you a line, you name the song. Here we go.

"Deep inside the garden of Eden/Standin' there with my hard on bleedin'/There's a devil in my dick and some demons in my semon/Good god no that would be treason"

Very disturbing lyrics eh. I'll add a line every day nobody can guess it, not counting today, considering this day has 7 hours left where I am right now.

A NEW SONG COVER...

Will be coming soon. In the mean time, here's the music video to the song I will be playing next.

I Got Zeitgeist and New Maps of Hell!!!

That's right folks. My favorite albums of 2007 so far (I'll probably get Libertad soon and that'll be good) are now both in my possession. nd what else? For only a total of $20.52!!! I'm driving my friend to Best Buy so we can both get all the bonus tracks from Zeitgeist without getting ripped off. I still have to buy thje whole iTunes album for "Stellar"!!! New Maps of Hell might be Bad Religion's best work to date. I'm serious. It's got the same feeling as late '80s BR, combined with their modern day guitar sound. The only CD that might be better is Suffer.

Zeitgeist, also is one of SP's best albums. I think it competes with Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie to be the best. The three best tracks (in order) are "United States", "Tarantula", "and "Doomsday Clock". "(Come On) Let's Go!" is another great song, that actually lifts my mood brighter, rather than what SP music usually does. I'm so glad they reunited and released this masterpiece. Seven years, worth the wait. This reminds me of how Social Distortion" had seven years between "White Light, White Heat, White Trash" and "Sex, Love, and Rock 'n' Roll", and the latter turned out their greatest work ever. However, "Zeitgeist" is fairly incomparab;e with older Pumpkins' work. It is at the same time heavier and softer than any other album. Songs such as "Doomsday Clock" and "United States" are heavy as anything, but songsd liuke
Pomp and Circumstance" and the tit;e track are so soft, that you could listen to them before going to bed and probably be in a sleepy mood. It's so different but the result is very good.

Now all I need is Elmis to make a guitar video just like I did. I want to see a solo that kicks bottom come out of you (considering that's your line it better).

For The First Time Ever...

I'm a little pissed off at The Smashing Pumpkins. In order to get "Zeitgeist", and all other songs written for the album, I hsve to buy the album twice, then spend an extra dollar. Why? Because I have to buy it from Best Buy and Target to get the bonus tracks "Death From Above", and "Zeitgeist" because they're exclusive to the stores, and then I have to spend a dollar on iTunes to get the song "Stellar". I can afford, but it pisses me off they would be so greedy. My mom's gonna think I went mental, but I want those tracks!!!

First Weekly Music Video: "1979" by Smashing Pumpkins/ All My Full Gui

[video=JXQ7kzP85b4Esj7e]

These are all the songs I can play all the way through to on guitar very well, listed by band:

Bad Religion- "American Jesus", "F**k Armageddon","Heroes and Martyrs", "Infected" (improvised solo), "Let Them Eat War", "Sorrow", "We're Only Gonna Die"

Jimi Hendrix- "Purple Haze", "Fire", "Hey Joe" (improvised solo, learning actual solo today)

Nirvana- "All Apologies", "Smells Like Teen Spirit", and I'll learn some more later today if I want

Pennywise- "Bro Hymn", "Closer", and nothing else by them is even worth my time cause their guitar sucks

Red Hot Chili Peppers- "Backwoods","Blood Sugar Sex Magik", "Californication", "Can't Stop", "Dani California", "Readymade", "Snow (Hey Oh), "Suck My Kiss", "Under the Bridge"

Smashing Pumpkins- "1979", "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" (forget some of it), "Tarantula" (learning right now), "Today" (see Tarantula)

I know many songs, but these are the ones that I can go out into my garage anytime and kill it all the way through. I also know many parts of songs, but not all the way through.

14 Days Until Zeitgeist and New Maps of Hell

In just two weeks, the Smashing Pumpkin's great return "Zeitgeist" will be released! Also on the exact same day, Bad Religion's "New Maps of Hell" will also be released. I can hardly wait!!! How can I wait you ask? Well, I have some songs to hold me over 'til then. From Smashing Pumpkins, I have "Tarantula" and "Doomsday Clock", two new songs. From Bad Religion, I have "Honest Goodbye", "Heroes and Martyrs", and "Requiem For Dissent" from the album. July 10th will be the best day for music this year!!!

Last Day of School :D!!!!

I'm so happy:D...except nobody bid on my item yet :(. But school's out :D!!! But nobody bid yet :(!!! I don't know whether to be happy and have fun, or be mad and pissed off at everybody. I CAN'T CHOOSE :P!!!!

I Figured Out How To Raise Money

I'm selling lots of stuuf on eBay. Right now, I'm selling a Gamecube, 29 games, 5 controllers, and crap loads of accesories for $300. If you're interested, PM me for the link.

I'm gonna also sell a Game Boy Micro with games, maybe a basketball net, and more. I'm getting closer tp $800 (I'm at about $500 including all money I have saved).

Final Decision

After much searching, I've decided what to buy as my next guitar. I 've considered extremely classy expensive guitars, all the way to cheap vintage looking ines. I've settled on a very nice, yet definitely affordable one. The Gibson SG Faded. It costs about $800. It would only be about $600 if I wasn't left-handed, but what are you going to do? Anyway, here it is:
