Flag Day
by DeeDeeDee-er on Comments
Tomorrow is Flag Day in here in The U.S.A.. I've decided to partially honor, partially make a joke of the holiday by wearing this shirt of mine:
I think it's a pretty good idea. It's the closest I've got to the American flag on a shirt. I already wore the shirt this week, but I'll try to wear it.

Isn't it Fun To Interrupt Your Parent's Argumements?
by DeeDeeDee-er on Comments
Literally one minute ago, my mo and step-dad were (and still are( arguing about a remodel for our house. I can't really keep track of who wants what, but one of them wants are friend's half-brother (he's Mexican) to do it. One wants a local guy we know to do it.
For one reason or another, I decided to go in the hall, bump my volleyball, and inbetween pauses, make a smart-ass remark such as "Go with the Meicans, they're good laborers! And cheap too! They'll do it for $20!", or chanting "Mexicans, Mexicans!" over and over. At one point, I walked in the room and said "I've got a solution, let's got to Home Depot, yell 'Que paso, que paso! Trabajo? Trabajo?', wait for one to respond, and then tell them what we want. We'll give him $20 and some wood and we'll haveanamazing house over night!"
No, I'm not racist, I just decided to excercise my freedom of speech, while having fun, and stay true to "Mind of Mencia', and "South Park". They're still fighting because my step-dad is using stupid tactics to try to get my mom to say what he wants, by saying "You're just shooting down what I want, you're not listening!" While she clearly is just giving her opinion.
I still know for a fact, that in reality, you can do stuff like this, but not that extreme. Remember, I'm not racist:
My Top Ten Vocalists/Songwriters/Frontman, All in One Blog!
by DeeDeeDee-er on Comments
The longest blog I've ever made probably, will now finish the top ten lists. I have done guitarists, bassists, and drummers, but no singers. I decided that no single person can take no. 1 on two things, so I made so each no.1 was different. Here it is!:
FRONTMAN:
1. Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
2. Jimi Hendrix (The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Gypsy Sun and Rainbows (The Band of Gypsys))
3. Greg Graffin (Bad Religion)
4. Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins, Zwan, Solo)
5. Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)
6. Mike Ness (Social Distortion)
7. Jim Lindberg (Pennywise)
8. Steven Tyler (Aerosmith)
9. Jack Johnson (Solo/Jack Johnson and Friends (same band))
10. Bob Marley (Bob Marley and the Wailers)
Songwriters:
1. Greg Graffin (Bad Religion)
2. Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
3. Brett Gurewitz (not a vocalist, songwriter only), (Bad Religion)
4. Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins, Zwan, Solo)
5. Jimi Hendrix (The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Gypsy Sun and Rainbows)
6. Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)
7. Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana-drummer)
8. Mike Ness (Social Distortion)
9. Bob Marley (Bob Marley and the Wailers)
10. Jack Johnson
Vocalists:
1. Jimi Hendrix (The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Gypsy Sun and Raibows)
2. Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
3. Greg Graffin (Bad Religion)
4. Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins, Zwan, Solo) (not someone you would usually put on a top singer list, but it's an awesome voice)
5. Bob Marley (Bob Marley and the Wailers)
6. Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)
7. Jack Johnson
8. Brad Nowell (Sublime)
9. Joe Strummer (The Clash)
10. Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave)
Yes, I'm well aware I should have put Chris Cornell should be much higher than no. 10, but he's obviously amazing, I don't think I even had to acknowledge him with a picture and a caption.. but I did.
My Dream Guitar, Unfortunately Too Expensive...
by DeeDeeDee-er on Comments
At about $4,000, a very nice model, that I would immediately trade many things for. It starts with a white, and ends with a falcon. The Gretsch White Falcon! The amazing hollow-body guitar is what I want more than anything, but it's extroardinarily expensive. Here's how amazingly beautiful it is:
Amazing sound, just amazing! Vintage White Falcons go fror amazxingly high prices. John Frusciante paid $30,000 for his.
My Next Guitar...
by DeeDeeDee-er on Comments
I have a vision. I already have a stratocaster, but I want another. I will buy a right handed white stratocaster, and restring it left-handed. Not ringing a bell? I'll give you a hint, it starts with a J,, and ends with an i. Still no? The other part starts with an H, and ends with an x. No? God dammit, it's Hendrix!!! Here, I'm getting this!
Song/Band of the Day!
by DeeDeeDee-er on Comments
A '90s song I believe (Note: clas(s) is shown as it is because I cannot post the word or it gets censored because it is supposedly forbidden):
High school seemed like such a blur,
I didn't have much interest in sports or school elections.
And in clas(s)I dreamed all day,
Of a rock 'n' roll weekend
And the girl in the front of the room,
So close yet so far y'know she never seemed to notice
That this silly schoolboy crush
Wasn't just pretend.
[Chorus:]
Life goes by so fast
You only want to do what you think is right.
Close your eyes and then it's past;
Story of my life
And I went down my old neighborhood
The faces have all changed there's no one left to talk to
And the pool hall I loved as a kid
Is now a Seven Eleven
I went downtown to look for a job
I had no training, no experience to speak of.
I looked at the holes in my jeans
And turned and headed back.
[Chorus]
Good times come and good times go,
I only wish the good times would last a little longer.
I think about the good times we had
And why they had to end.
So I sit at the edge of my bed
I strum my guitar and I sing an outlaw love song.
Thinkin' 'bout what you're doin' now
And when you're comin' back.
[Chorus]
Story of My Life by Social Distortion (Band of the day)
KROQ's 106.7 Biggest Bands of All Time (more like The '80s -Present)
by DeeDeeDee-er on Comments
I did not make this list (you'll see why I said that), it was from KROQ, the radio station. Quite a few bad bands on there, but also some good ones. Why the hell are Green f'ing Day, Fall and MCR on there . I'm actually pretty sure it's the most requested bands since KROQ started. I believe 9 out of 10 of my favorite bands (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bad Religion, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Social Distortion, Bob Marley, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Jack Johnson, and Sublime) are on there, just not Hendrix since his career was so short. :
