I'm excited for the PS5 Pro. I can finally play FF7 Rebirth at 60 fps without blurry image quality. Also happy to see Assassin's Creed Shadows will be enhanced as well.
My RTX 4090 was $1600 and I don't regret buying it. My co-workers buy a new iPhone every year for over $1000 which is often a small upgrade.
$700 for a more powerful PS5 that I'll be playing on for the next 4-5 years doesn't seem so bad.
It's pricey for a console, but I'll buy one. I already bought a GPU for $1600 and the Pro isn't even half that price. Already sold my Xbox and I'll sell the regular PS5 too, so that offsets the price a bit.
@simonthekid7: You're saying because of the lack of "realistic" graphics, and that it's a platformer instead of an open world game, it doesn't deserve high scores?
Well, that's an...interesting take.
Budget, scope and genre should not determine how good a game's review scores can be. I've played simple $5 indie games that I though were more fun than many $70 AAA games.
I tried it for a few hours, I didn't think it was bad, but I didn't have fun either. Many people are enjoying it, but if I wanted to play a game like that, I'd just get into Warframe again.
