The graphics aren't the best, but the ships feel so intuitive to fly. Sometimes it feels like you are actually being guided by the force.

Basically teaches public speaking skills...

I started doing that because I thought it sounded different. I'm actually way more comfortable communicating through writing than face to face, and I thought I'd do something to help change that.

Can you imagine trying to explain the whole "Console vs PC" war, to a room full of people who may never have even played a game for all you know (basically people from all walks of life go to Toastmasters) in a way that everyone will hopefully be able to relate to?

This was actually a speech I gave, with a Powerpoint presentation. It's framed as a "Gamer 101" classroom guide to Gamer culture. You might get some lolz out of it.

I think whatever you game on, you're entitled to the best possible experience.

If I actually drove for lolz anymore/had anywhere to actually go; I'd be perfectly happy to have a console and a car for the same money.

I would have bought a console if I liked gamepads, and didn't have non gaming uses for my computer.

The original "master race" didn't end up doing so well...

@suppaphly42: You know how your skillz get worse the more tired you get on an all nighter? At least if you end up tanking in a single player game, you're the only one who knows you suck.

I would say I'd avoid all night comment fests on here in the future (using my logic and argument skillz) but if I hadn't had an EPIC FAIL on here in the first place, you wouldn't be reading this right now.

I was on here because I can't usually get to sleep anyway, so it's better to do something to fill in my time. (Chronic insomnia.)

I had to dig out my POS laptop to actually be able to post on here (you may remember me posting a few comments from my tablet, but I realised that wasn't going to cut it.)

Do you think it would just turn on when I pushed the button? Dead battery lol... My power points aren't exactly user friendly - it took about 5 minutes just to be able to plug the stupid thing in in the first place.

Then it decides to perform a system update on boot. U wot MS?

I was already tired, and I was already more or less feeling like FML before I'd even gotten onto GS to start posting.

So yeah, let's just say shit happened... But it could have been a lot worse.
