HEY YOU - ACTUAL GAMERS WHO ARE NOT SCAMMERS...

SEE THOSE SCAM POSTS CLUTTERING UP THE FLOW?

TRY ONE EASY STEP... click on > Sorted By: Upvotes (this has been retconned, should work now)

Not perfect, but at least it moves most scammer comments to the bottom of the page...

(original post was tldr, and was trying to deter scammers from posting in the first place)

@suppaphly42 Would that actually stop you? Class C offense here. Cautionable on first infraction...

@suppaphly42: Here's how to use my new New Zealand meme if you want to "troll" someone, and yet have them wondering if you're actually trolling them.

At this point in the conversation I'd like to interject this comment...

yeah.... naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh

(used when you are in a conversation and you kinda get what the other person is saying but dont quite agree with what is being said, or dont really give a shit.

cuz: hey bro, did you borrow my bloody car?

bro: yeah nah , i think it was the other guy)

Yeah cuz, I'm interested in what you have to say and everything. I read every word you said and agree with your opinion. Already "liked" your comment. And I liked what you had to say in your comment.

But nah bro - I don't think what you have to say is necessarily for everyone's eyes. Maybe type it out in a blog, post a short TLDR from your blog here for people to follow. Like imagine it's a news headline.

Mods and other users - Spoiler - drug reference...

Don't want mods for cautioning you for drug talk (not sure if serious) while they're having a quick scan of your post just now.

Don't want you to get banned in here for additional content, if you're already being banned for posting a "Wall of Text" that got too flagged by uninterested people. That will just add "Salt" to the wound...

Have a good one mate...

@suppaphly42: Yeah, I don't agree with exploits. To me "God mode armour" and "WMD swords" break Skyrim worse than any bug Bethesda unintentionally left in the game.

When I'd finished doing the whole "mega fortify smithing" exploit loop the first time, I wasn't sure how powerful it was going to be, so I spent a while doing it.

When I walked into the giant village and actually hit a giant, and it died in one hit, I was less like "Yes! I am a God now!" and more like "Oh no, what have I done?"

I played it for a while, walking around joylessly and leaving a trail of "ganked" corpses behind me, before I reverted to a previous save and actually created something I thought had some semblance of fairness.

That's at least a couple of hours of my life that I'll never get back...

I did end up making some potions that made weapons and armour I could use with an (almost) clear conscience.

If there's a similar exploit in Fallout 4, I'm not going to be using it to break my game.

If people do break their game by becoming OP, I want to pitch in some ideas for a mod that will make it fair again...

Looking forwards to the crafting system though.

@metalmountain: I couldn't agree more. Don't forget to punish their jerkiness with a nice flag for spamming. If everyone did this, they wouldn't be able to post here...

@GameSpot - what about a new "code of conduct" rule?

Posting a link to potential scamming sites = Banhammer...

Posting a link to an illegitimate site promising "Free Games" that are actually Pirated Software?

You guessed it - Banhammer...

I want to be able to include links in the content I post on here, and have people be able to trust them enough to actually follow them.

If I posted a link to a virus or other undesirable content, I'd probably have my account deactivated, right?

Just saying... I'm not a mod or anything, but I've seen you ask the community what changes they'd like to see around here...

Like this post if you agree, and please remember to flag the scammers. I know I'm going to...

@suppaphly42: Dude - that is absolutely priceless! I wanted to be first to comment on this - before some negative Nancy insults your intelligence over not getting the math right...

Your question prompted me to write some stuff I thought needed to be written, and all I'll have to do is retcon "17 years" into "12 years" and the rest of the post will be just as correct.

I'm not going to say I LOL'd about it - not entirely accurate. I've had a smile on my face since I read your post - cheers for giving some much neglected facial muscles a chance to get used:

This is what I'm talking about

(Spoiler for Courtesy purposes...)

I'm 36. Never stopped to question whether GS being almost half my age seemed right or not. Who needs "blind leading the blind" when you can have "the drunk leading the... intoxicated?"

Steam tells me that I have spent a comparatively modest 285 hours wandering the frigid wastes of Skyrim. Did you get all the DLC available? I've only got the vanilla game and Dragonborn.

This is my playstyle... Goes without saying that I've added some mods too.

<EDIT: My YouTube blurb for the above video:

This is the end of the Azura's Star quest, in which I venture into the Daedric artefact to destroy the imprisoned soul of the mage who debased it in an attempt to turn it to his own dark purposes.

Played using a Logitech G502 mouse, and a Saitek Cyborg Evo flight stick as a keyboard replacement.

Two mods I'd suggest to anyone playing on PC:

SkyUI - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3863/?

More Hotkeys Please - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23416/?>

I probably would have played it longer had I not found out about the whole potion/magic exploit to be able to make "God mode armour" and "WMD swords". At least I've got myself to blame for breaking the game.

Some people would probably enjoy being able to shrug off a Giant's club, or kill a dragon with a few swipes. As for me (this is a "meme" we use in New Zealand) "Yeah... Nah..."

For example

What am I trying to say?

TOP DEFINITION yeah nah

said : yeah.... naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh

used when you are in a conversation and you kinda get what the other person is saying but dont quite agree with what is being said, or dont really give a shit.
