@nazgoroth @Dissentioncc Glad you think so. My point is that his reviews for non-medieval rpgs are always so much lower compared to the majority of other reviewers out there, and people seem to take his word as gospel which is a shame. He's not good at his job.
@sladakrobot @Dissentioncc The majority are still positive, that's the point. 5.0 is too low. And again, it's not just this game. Destiny, Alien Iso, and now this in the past week alone. This guy blows at reviewing games that aren't medieval rpgs.
@huehueireportu Yes, because those are totally the same people...You are stupid if you think the people complaining are the same ones that want the old RE back.
@loafofgame @Dissentioncc @DARREN636 There are two current examples of games where he has done exactly that, Destiny and this. Duke Nukem Forever is another one (yes, I know it sucks). My problem with his reviews are the reasons he dislikes games. The "negatives" he lists most of the time are trivial at best, and completely subjective. I'm not saying all of them are, but usually there is a con listed that makes me scratch my head.
Now you are just arguing semantics about the word consensus. So, yes you are right, it's obviously not a consensus in the sense that these reviewers are not collaborating on their reviews and scores. However, after collecting the reviews together and comparing them (and the scores), it becomes a general consensus. The general consensus is that this game is around an 8 out of 10.
@loafofgame @Dissentioncc @bruta Fair enough. I forgot they based this on the first movie. That does seem a bit cheap then. My question would then be about how often it happens. Is it enough to warrant a low score?
@bruta The thing is, yeah that would suck, but in a spaceship full of aliens hunting you....I see that as something entirely possible. Would it be frustrating? Of course, but at least it's not predictable.
