I love that more people were worried about Luigi dying (despite the ending showing he could go back to his body) than Mario and Megaman dying brutally by head-crush and impalement, respectively. Luigi definitely deserves more love.
@brightamethyst: This is the same company that had racist stereotypes in their cartoons which they rereleased (Aristocats), and had sexual images in their box art (Little Mermaid, and the... interesting... shape of the castle on the VHS tapes).
They're not "holding their ground" on anything. They're using this as an excuse to fire Gunn because some higher-up doesn't like him but couldn't find a reason to fire him before - there's absolutely no way they couldn't have known about his background - and look like utter hypocrites for it. If he is being fired for 10-year-old tweets, why aren't they taking responsibility for their crap from years ago as well?
@Mogan: That girl refused to learn though. She never apologized for what she said, and she was acting like the guy who was making a suggestion in a very rational way, was saying it because she was a woman (even though he not once brought up her gender).
@johnnypeps: Except in this case, it's not really honesty. They completely blew off fans of the original Culling with the updates they did to that game, went radio silent for months, then announced the second game out of the blue which made any remaining fans feel like they had been ditched. This isn't them wanting to be honest, as much as them HAVING to be honest in order to gain back even a fraction of their original fanbase.
