@HarlemVIP: I did read. All you did was say "lol I'm right (also nice use of irrelevant political jab there), so have fun talking with yourself". You're not making any real point if you're NOT a troll.

Also, it's not the "not falling in line with the masses" part that piss people off. People don't mind criticism. It's when one is obnoxious about it and looks down on others in the process like you do. Like, again, the moronic insertion of politics you did at the beginning.

@HarlemVIP: So you just replied that you were "shown to be" right without explaining how?

I guess I should've noticed with how you started your first post that you "know" people will get annoyed, that you just intend to troll. Either that or you're hilariously oblivious to how you come across regardless of if you try to make a point.

@HarlemVIP: You imply here: "I'm not one of those "hey, look at these shiny keys jiggling in your face while I go in your pockets" movie fan." As if people just go for the shinies and not because, you know, they want to see a marvel movie. Your insult at the beginning of your response also indicates a holier-than-thou attitude.

"Secondly, yeah, I DID complain that Spider-F*ck-Up was in this movie because he played an extremely SMALL role in the comic, whereas Silver Surfer, Mistress Death, and some of the celestial beings all played LARGE roles. So that part of your argument is null and void."

Except this isn't the comic universe, and spiderman was already established in the movie universe while all those characters wasn't, so your whining about them not being in the movie is pointless.

@HarlemVIP: Before you complain about the movie not adding up, you should be more consistent with your whining. On one hand you are complaining that several characters don't show up despite being in the canon material(despite that requiring them to show up out of nowhere and require explanation, which this movie is designed NOT to rely on).... then complain that Spider-man is in the movie despite being in the canon material. Don't try to act like you know better than other people, and don't be a hypocrite.

Regarding the infinity gauntlet: Since there's been no need to go to the dwarves (at least for asgardians) since the creation of the hammer, I just assumed that Thanos got the gauntlet sometime in the past after the creation of the hammer, the gauntlet gained its infamy, but no one actually bothered to check on the dwarves afterwards because 1) There was no need after the hammer's creation, and 2) They didn't know the dwarves had anything to do with the gauntlet.

It's heavily implied that only the Asgardians (and Thanos) knew of the dwarves given that Rocket thought the place was just a legend, so if the Asgardians didn't have a reason to go, then most likely no one checked in on the dwarves after Thanos did his thing. Thus, there's plenty of time for Thanos to have his gauntlet before anyone discovered what happened.

@southsouthsac:Please don't act like you represent everyone with the "people are legit angry" comment.

I'm Indian, and I'm "legit" not angry. It's a comical stereotype, and it's not as if Apu wasn't shown in positive light at all over the years. He's the one who effectively told Lisa to accept that while she's vegetarian, her family won't be and thus helped the family recover in the Lisa-goes-vegetarian episode, for example. He's shown as being able to be professional in the work environment in most situations, and is shown to be well-liked by the community.

It's one thing to be upset if a character was designed in such a way that there's little to nothing positive about him, but the stereotypes have been relatively harmless. I'm not upset by Apu, feel that this sudden "anger" is stupid, and I personally know a lot of Indians who aren't upset by him.

Also I've seen some clips where he claims apu is nothing but a brownface, the indian equivalent to blackface. Given that the reason blackface was looked down upon eventually was because of its use in doing nothing but insulting black people, Apu doesn't fit the "brownface" category at all. As for the whole "kids using Apu in school" thing: while it is unfortunate, the issue is that kids will use ANY minority character as a stereotype against other kids, no matter how positive the character represents his race. If Apu didn't exist, it would have happened with some other character, even if the character was in a high-end job or a perfect role model. A perfect example is the doctor from Courage the cowardly dog; he's a doctor, is clearly supposed to be Indian even if they don't outright say it, is shown mostly in a positive light, but I can guarantee that kids would've used him (if he had been more popular than Apu) to associate with Indian kids in school.

That being said, I'm not going to say "everyone" is not upset by Apu. Likewise, please don't come across as if you're representing everyone and that everyone is upset about Apu.

@nabinator: Don't bring more stupidity into this where it's not needed. It doesn't matter if a person is liberal or otherwise when they're getting offended over nothing. It's just stupid.

I'm Indian, and I and most Indians I know have absolutely no issue with Apu; he's just a goofy caricature and we get that he isn't designed to be racist and make fun of an entire race, so people need to stop friggin' stepping on eggshells just because he's a stereotype.
