While I do respect that Rian did his homework, more of the complaints I heard from my friends were related to the sheer distance involved in the usage of the technique than the technique itself, since neither they nor I recall there ever being an example of such a ludicrously-long-range use of a force power in any of the stories, Legend or Official.
That, and the reveal took away from the awesomeness of the duel and the scene right before it, but I'm not 100% sure that's relevant to the complaint being addressed in this article.
@dragonsama: Mario Tennis is a brand new game with an actual story mode, which hasn't been seen since the GBA games (which at the time were considered far superior to the console versions of the games specifically because of the depth those modes added).
@videogameninja: I dunno, a mario tennis game by Camelot with a story mode (which was amazing in the GBA games) might trump that, especially now that Namco's announced that the remaster is appearing on other systems. It doesn't remove the Switch's advantage of freakin' portable dark souls, but still... STORY MODE POWER TENNIS
