@ArchoNils2: The US got the original retail version on PS1, but never got it on PSN during the PSP days in either form (probably because of copyright issues regarding Stallion's blatant Ultraman references? At least, that's my guess). I'm guessing the US is finally getting the PSP version because that version changed Stallion's color and attack name.
Wow he couldn't even wait for several weeks to see if it would pick up? Everyone knows that there's a huge monetary surge near the end of a kickstarter campaign, yet he couldn't be bothered to try and advertise his campaign more and just shuts it down in the first week?
Good thing he didn't follow through. Such half-assed effort shows he had little faith in his own game and that the game would've ended up being half-assed as well.
So he led a company that has screwed up pretty much every MMO it touched outside of Planetside 2, even going so far as to try to rip North American people off with pricing (the EU version of Dragon's Prophet gave double the value in its cash shops for the same price as the NA version, for example), and now wants to make yet another MMO that he'll inevitably either try to screw people with or refuse to update it, all with crappy customer service.
I've never said this about anyone before, but I sincerely hope his kickstarter fails.
@Meta_Dragon You misunderstand something. The game will LAUNCH with that setting, meaning it won't be in until the game's official release which won't be for at least a year. They're just saying that they're designing the game so that the highest setting will be able to push graphics cards that are released at the time the game is released, so the game won't look "outdated" in that regard upon release.
@g0ldenpr0pet Except the two are not flaws just by themselves. If the online-only component was clearly advertised (which it was), then its existence shouldn't be held against it unless there are server-based issues.Otherwise, by your faulty logic, no MMO would ever get a good score due to the online-only trait. The 792p is also not a ding against a game, because you're not describing actual graphical flaws like bad texturing or screen tearing but just the fact that it isnt a particular level of high definition. By that logic, most indie games on consoles would never get a good score sine they aren't in 1080p.
If you're going to complain about a game, then at least have valid reasons to dock points off instead of incredibly vague justifications that would damn the vast majority of games out there.
Edit: Just to clarify, I don't even have an XBox One, nor do I want to get one becaus the games it touts aren't my cupof tea. Even then, I can tell that your logic is incredibly flawed.
