@ArabrockermanX So? Nintendo can't control what third-party developers do, so they shouldn't have to apologize for them. Furthermore, they're only doing the price reduction nearly a full year after release, after some good games have come out, compared to the 3DS reducing prices FIVE MONTHS into its lifespan when it was still suffering from a horrendous lack of good games.
The 3DS ambassador program happened because not only was it a large price cut very soon after release, but also because there were very few games for the system at all until AFTER the price cut, so it effectively felt like Nintendo was punishing the people who bought it prior to the price cut. The Wii U on the other hand had 10 months for its price cut, and only after there were considerably more games put out for it compared to the 3ds prior to its price cut. There's zero reason to give an ambassadorship program for Wii U early adopters.
...You know, this is just the type of information that would've at least somewhat reduced the damage done by Microsoft's poor E3 display, since it's actually unique and could be used as a justification for the additional price (Though I dont think it does, I just think it'd at least be A point they could have used).
Instead, they just went "lol we r wurth teh extra monies" until now. It's pretty sad that they have their priorities so screwed up that they mention a LEGITIMATELY NEW FEATURE as an afterthought.
No autoleveling eh? Well I hope they handle that properly. If it's well-handled, then there'll be constant tension no matter where we go in case we run into that one group that is just too powerful for us. However, if they screw it up and just dump all the high-levelled enemies into one or two maps, then it'd ironically defeat the whole "Choose what you want to do" theme since you'd be FORCED to go to other, lower-leveled kingdoms.
@Foppe @Doomerang @toddx77 It's nowhere near as simple as that. Just because it is a "piece of data" does not automatically mean it's compatible with another engine or program. Otherwise, you'd be able to open photoshop files with MS Word, which is obviously not the case.
Is it me, or does the thing look really uncomfortable? The shoulder buttons are further away from the buttons, and from that preview vid it looks like it'd be difficult to be able to use the touch screen with your fingers AND the shoulder buttons at the same time.
@markypants @blast880 I would also like to point out that you're insulting people who do enjoy the game implicitly, though obviously not by intention. Specifically, by saying that there's little other way to feel but "seedy" after playing the fanservice portion, you're implying that those who do enjoy those portions for any reason, even if just because they shrug off the fanservice, has something wrong with them. I just wanted to point this out to you, in a friendly way for future reference.
