Album comes out tomorrow and I cant believe people actually buy this ****!

Well as most people know the NHL season started in earnest last night for a few teams but MY NHL season doesn't start until 1PM(just a few hours from now)and I am excited. That was a long, boring and hot summer that seriously draggerd to get to this point.

Hank finally got his wish. When the Rangers opened in Prague a few years ago he said he wished he would be able to open in his home country and we are finally here. So while this is "technically" a road game for the Rangers vs Kings I am sure we will have the home crowd behind us so it will feel like a home game. Gonna be real hard to work today knowing the game is playing and trying not to see or hear any results until I can watch the game later on my DVR. This was yet another downside to my move. I lost the ability to have a TV in the same area as my PC:(

Anybody posts results in this blog will be banned on sight! Nah, I don't care if anybody does but I refuse to check back here until I had a chance to watch the game tonight.

Mo has finally gone and done it. He is now the all time save leader in the history of the MLB(602). At age 41 he doesn't even seem close to being near the end of his career. Hell, here's to Mo breaking 1k! Simply the greatest closer ever.

Nobody and I mean nobody can ruin today no matter what the hell they do. Why? One of the best shows to ever grace the tele is finally back on tonight for its 90 minute premier. Waiting a year between seasons is just pure torture!

I have no idea how we managed to only have a few breaks of power but nothing prolonged. I drove around yesterday and trees, wires and branches all over not to mention about 2 blocks in either direction have no power. During my drive (I tried going about a 5 miles radius hitting a few different towns in the process) I could not find any working traffic lights so I assume anybody in those areas have no power either. I do feel for them as I would be a miserable ***** to be around by not being able to get any sleep until the power went back on whenever that would be. With that said I am gonna look into a battery backup for my CPAP. I can't sleep at all without it now and that would be an investment well worth it to me. It was really odd as one area could be hit really bad them only like a football field away they were fine nothing was on the ground except leaves. We have roughly 1 million people here on LI and 450k plus lost power. Oh before I forget here's a pic of the trees in the back yard that fell the "right" way for my family and I...lol The scary thing is none of us heard them fall and you would think the one that cracked would have made a loud noise no? Soil was so moist from all the rain prior to Irene I seen more just uprooted than broken.

Before I get to the topic at hand I just have to say has anybody seen the commercials for SoA yet(Son's of Anarchy--easily the best show I on TV)? I watch Louie and Rescue Me(:( only 2 more episodes and another series goes bye bye on me) on FX so that is the only commercial I refuse to fast forward through. 90 minute premier September 6th for people not in the know! Anyway, my question to anybody that has seen the commercials do you feel this may be the end? I don't want to spoil anything so I will just say pay attention to what Jax asks Clay and tell me if you get the same vibe?

OK, now when you know or feel an imminent power outage coming what is the one thing you have to make sure is charged? I am gonna assume the younger gen will worry about their cell phones(Personally I despise the things but hey that's me and I have my legit reasons). Seeing as how I have been packing--for yet another move--my DS and PSP are already packed away and they use to be my go to items. Now I found I have to make sure my Kindle is fully charged.

So if you could only choose one thing to charge what would it be?

PS-And yes I love me some Pink and my favorite song by her was a perfect title too!

I don't know why all of a sudden I have been inundated with random freezing the last week but it drove me insane enough to switch browsers and I am someone that despises change. I also rely heavily on bookmarks and have over 180 I need to transfer over. Fun, fun...NOT!

I spent probably 1-2 hours during the past week searching through Google for firefox random freezing in an attempt for me not to have to give up on it but when it starts to become more frequent and the freezing was getting longer and longer(started at around only 5-10 seconds---longest I timed was 1:12 seconds)I had to say enough was enough. I tried every solution that has been posted on the firefox support forums and nothing worked. I evern deleted and reinstalled with no luck as well. Ran in safe-mode, made a new profile and it still happened. I even tried installing an older version. No dice!

If I wasn't working and just browsing while online then maybe I would put up with it but for now I wish you well FF. So far I have downloaded Chrome, Safari and Opera. MY first browser I am gonna try and get the hang of is Safari. Wish me luck!

I was about to make a new collection missing games thread but it looks kinda stale to me so I wanted to see if I could get some help sprucing it up. I will hold a contest and have another GameSpot person(s) judge this so that there's no bias from me. I want to get a banner for the opening post with maybe some sort of collage showing a bunch of different game systems or whatever YOU feel it should be but something to do with game collections. I will award 10k in profile points to the winner and 5k to the two runner ups!
