[QUOTE="lebanese_boy"][QUOTE="doomsoth"] Yup, all of them are pansies and Target, Walmart, etc. are included in being pansies. Some parents are morons as well as government officials. Pile all of that together and you get the lack of AO games.

doomsoth

I would actually be with them on that kind of arguement. Why would I like it if porn games are as accessible as Super Mario Galaxy at Best Buy?

Wow, you completely missed my second post: "So I guess AO automatically equals porn, huh? Sounds like you're thinking along the same line as the big three and the retailers. You do realize that Manhunt 2 was going to be deemed AO because of the violence, not because of sexuality." Some of you need to realize that AO doesn't not = porn. *rolls eyes*

The thing with this is that the only major differenes between "M" ratings & "Ao" ratings is that "Ao" ratings contain much more explicit sex than "M" ratings (they're mostly violent & gory).

I would modify the "Adults Only" rating's age to 21+, since most people are supossed to become adult both biologically & psychologically at that age. Even so, as far as I've read, gaming consoles barely have titles rated "Ao" (SONY claims they don't allow for "Ao" games in the PS family). I guess most of those games are found at sex shops, mostly for PCs.

Definitely nothing, since I'm already stuck in the Great Island (Isla Grande) of Puerto Rico, & I have all I need right here (food, family, modern entertainment, crappy government, school...). And yes, I'm pretty much stuck in here, since I've never traveled out of my home country & it's not likely to happen until I go to college.

These are some of my bets (some could be previously mentioned by other GS forum posters):

-Super Smash Bros. RUMBLE (with a grafitti style font)

-Super Smash Bros. Storm/Typhoon (remember Hurricanes Ike & Nana?)

-Super Smash Bros. Showdown*

-Super Smash Bros. Duel*

-Super Smash Bros. Cataclysm* (*sound like grand finales for the series)

-Super Smash Bros. Tsunami

-Super Smash Bros. Mob/Riot** (for those Melee fans that despice BRAWL for not pleasing them)

-Super Smash Bros. Vengance** (**most likely to be M-Rated)

Maybe because those fanboys don't want to accept as official competition a significantly underpowered, non-fanbase oriented, non HD, higly reliable, profiting electronic device intended to manage videogames.

For a game's collerctors' edition, I would like to see some content of the game in an early development stage, with many of the glitches (unless they really damage the experience) & cancelled ideas.

Heck Tijuana, GTA: Norway would be ownage!rom11
You Know, Oslo (Norway's capital city & largest city) as well as the rest of the Scandinavian countries (Sweden, Denmark, Iceland) have extremely low criminal activity, so it would be quite hard to transform the city. Antoher thing would be that its urban enviroment is not so appropiate for criminal themed videogames.

A sweet fighting game with Sony characters.lextexrex

Sorry, I'm ahead of you. Search for my first post on this topic, I think it is on the 2nd page. The game would be named "Ultra Slam Dudes".

The hard copies really have big advantages for decent consumers (reselling, sharing with friends, no traumatic waits for downlading & installing...), & for retailers (extra sales for careless people, the jobs it creates...). The only people who really are disadvantaged are the makers of those games, since they have to produce them, send them overseas, & pay for everything needed to sell them.

On the other hand, hard copies are more vulnerable to piracy, especially those recorded on standard hard media (i.e. CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays...). That is the main reason for videogame producers to prefer DLC over hard copies (although hacking will eventually break though security codes, leading to illegal downloads). The other main reason for videogame producers to want DLC over hard copies is the overall much cheaper costs, even if that means losing many customers regarding DLC distrust, slowness or ignorance.

I consider myself to be on the decent customers group with a good portion of DLC distrust & slowness.

It amazes me how ignorant so many people on the internet are...Deihjan

You know, if I were REALLY ignorant, I wouldn't have asked.

By the way, I'm surprised by how much interest this topic has arised...
