@saturatedbutter @Dredcrumb9 Art is in the eye of the beholder. Not everybody thinks it's artistic flourish to have the screen flash with a cheap X pop up every time you kill somebody.
Can we finally turn off the kill effect and hit markers in campaign mode? Shooting people is annoying when the screen flashes with an X over every enemy you kill. GTAV sucks with kill indicators. The only death indicator and/or hitmarker should be blood spray and wounds on the enemy going limp.
@haze0986 is there an option to turn off the kill effect in the updated gtav? Seeing the screen flash with an x over every enemy I killed in gtav ruined combat in GTAV for me. I could only imagine how much I'll hate it in first person.
Can we turn off the kill indicators(screen flash and 'x' that pops up over enemies killed) in this version? An option to turn off the cinematic score would be nice too. If these options are not in the game, then GTAV is dead to me.
@qursdxx the public and most cod gamers are zombies. Romero's Night, Dawn, and Day are social commentary on the dorrito eating, tv watching, drake and nicki minaj loving, cod playing public.
Can we turn off the stupid 'x' kill marker and white strobe flash across the screen that happens for every kill in gtav? If not, i could care less about first person mode or anything to do with shooting in gtav. I can tell when an enemy is dead when they stop moving. Kill indicators are for casual gamers and people who need glasses.
Good to see they added gore. I hope they didnt remove the bullet wound effects though, they are nice as seamless hitmarkers. I also hope this game has a Dino Island DLC.
@oldtobie @Dredcrumb9 hit markers in single player should be optional. I don't want immersive graphics and blood effects, only to see a stupid X pop up every time I hit a target. Seeing the enemy spray blood, littered with wounds, and falling over is enough. These 'X' hit markers and all other visible, annoying, non seamless kill/hit indicators are an abomination to modern shooters.
Some gore and physics would of helped this game. Instead of seeing a red X when enemies are killed, they could have shown red wounds on enemies, blood spray, occasional gore, and good physics with enemies being blown back.
