[QUOTE="gnomegnasher"]wow thats funny...i thought that when Sony said that rumble was "last gen" all of the ps3 whores backed that up, using it as a way to put down the other two consoles. you just have to laugh i guessoutbreak201
rumble is last gen....now they have "touchsense" next gen rumble
He's refering to what sony said themselves about rumble, they also claimed it wasn't possible with the sixaxis controller. Lawsuits over, surprise now it is able to work with sixaxis. This just pisses me off because it should have been there in the first place and on top of that sony lies blatantly to all our faces about it not working. Then now magically it will, and I'm supposed to spend more money.
I have a Sony Bravia XBR 1080i/720P flat panel LCD and use the VGA connection. It suits me just fine, I still believe that if you can get the samsung slimfit TV's do so Tube tvs still beat lcd and plasma in any category visually, size and weightbecomes the exception. The best of old technology in most cases is better than the best of new technology, if not in the appearance category.
Standard tv's shouldn't enter this conversation becausenext-gensystems are meant for HD. At first I used my brother's LCD projection LCD toshiba tv and had no problems playin the 360. Once he moved out and I was forced to use my standard 27" sharp tv, I just didn't play anymore. Then I got my sony and all was well.
I'm ocassionally amused that I have a 360 paired with a sony tv, they play nice together though.
Not sure of how you handle charging your battery, but its always healthier for rechargable batteries if you let their power run out completely before charging them. Then when charging them, make sure you do so all the way.
Gears is a third person shooter, Halo is a first person shooter. Gears plays completely different with its cover system and no respawns making for slighlty more strategic play. Halo on the other hand has respawns and no cover system so is more run n gun. Gears is currently the only one on the 360 as Halo 3 is yet to be released. So I don't see the two being very comparable. There are still plenty more differences I have not noted. This topic is completely pointless.
