Nice dig at Americans, when most of the banned games you want to play are from America. You've just knocked the nation that basically made gaming as good as it is. (Sorry to Japanese lovers, but I much prefer the involving realistic experiences from the American market than the obviously-a-game products from Japan) Btw, I'm not American, so this isn't a "I'm defending my country!" rant. I just feel that it's hard to dig at a country that gave me Half-Life and Portal. In fact, on that note, cheers America for those games! Or as we say in my coutnry, "Baie danke!"
I agree with a lot of posts here. The graphics on all three have got to a point where you'll never notice without these zoomed in screenshots. What makes these comparisons even worse, is that the writers are not artists and have no idea on how things are meant to look. They think that if a feature is there, it is better than if its not. With the extra 360 shadows, I personally think that a) The room with the toilet looks better b) the bedroom table looks worse. Gamespot think both look better just because there are more shadows, when actually the table shadows look so much more realistic on the PS3 and PC (Especially the PC in this one case). Gamespot, I love you, but please look at a table in real life before saying something silly like completely black shadows that line up with the table perfectly are better than softer angled shadows. Light bounces around a room, it doesn't just go straight from the source. I own a PC and a PS3, and I fully accept that the 360 does a better job with graphics than the PS3 most of the time, and I accept that I have to put too much money into my PC to make it look outstanding. I think everyone here understands we got to a point where games look outstanding anywhere and we just want to play them! The comparisons that matter more to me are stupid platform-exclusives! Especially DLC exclusives, argh! Rant over :)
