The Korans War Verses: Part 4

Over these years the West and other free non-muslim people have learned a great deal about what Islam really is. All the suffering and persecution in the Middle East brought down on over non-muslim groups, especially Christians and Hindus, has now been brought to the light or at least acknowledged. The media so far has not grasped the situation, but the people have. The truth cannot be destroyed, covered up, or bought out; it is a burning flame of power.

009.005
But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

009.012
But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and taunt you for your Faith,- fight ye the chiefs of Unfaith: for their oaths are nothing to them: that thus they may be restrained.

009.013
Will ye not fight people who violated their oaths, plotted to expel the Messenger, and took the aggressive by being the first (to assault) you? Do ye fear them? Nay, it is Allah Whom ye should more justly fear, if ye believe!

009.014
Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers,

009.016
Or think ye that ye shall be abandoned, as though Allah did not know those among you who strive with might and main, and take none for friends and protectors except Allah, His Messenger, and the (community of) Believers? But Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do.

009.019
Do ye make the giving of drink to pilgrims, or the maintenance of the Sacred Mosque, equal to (the pious service of) those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and strive with might and main in the cause of Allah? They are not comparable in the sight of Allah: and Allah guides not those who do wrong.

009.020
Those who believe, and suffer exile and strive with might and main, in Allah's cause, with their goods and their persons, have the highest rank in the sight of Allah: they are the people who will achieve (salvation).

009.024
Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious.

009.025
Assuredly Allah did help you in many battle-fields and on the day of Hunain: Behold! your great numbers elated you, but they availed you naught: the land, for all that it is wide, did constrain you, and ye turned back in retreat.

009.026
But Allah did pour His calm on the Messenger and on the Believers, and sent down forces which ye saw not: He punished the Unbelievers; thus doth He reward those without Faith.

009.029
Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

009.036
The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year)- so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred: that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.

009.038
O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter.

009.039
Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least. For Allah hath power over all things.

009.041
Go ye forth, (whether equipped) lightly or heavily, and strive and struggle, with your goods and your persons, in the cause of Allah. That is best for you, if ye (but) knew.

009.044
Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day ask thee for no exemption from fighting with their goods and persons. And Allah knoweth well those who do their duty.

009.052
Say: "Can you expect for us (any fate) other than one of two glorious things- (Martyrdom or victory)? But we can expect for you either that Allah will send his punishment from Himself, or by our hands. So wait (expectant); we too will wait with you."

009.073
O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge indeed.

009.081
Those who were left behind (in the Tabuk expedition) rejoiced in their inaction behind the back of the Messenger of Allah: they hated to strive and fight, with their goods and their persons, in the cause of Allah: they said, "Go not forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is fiercer in heat." If only they could understand!

009.083
If, then, Allah bring thee back to any of them, and they ask thy permission to come out (with thee), say: "Never shall ye come out with me, nor fight an enemy with me: for ye preferred to sit inactive on the first occasion: Then sit ye (now) with those who lag behind."

009.086
When a Sura comes down, enjoining them to believe in Allah and to strive and fight along with His Messenger, those with wealth and influence among them ask thee for exemption, and say: "Leave us (behind): we would be with those who sit (at home)."

009.088
But the Messenger, and those who believe with him, strive and fight with their wealth and their persons: for them are (all) good things: and it is they who will prosper.

009.092
Nor (is there blame) on those who came to thee to be provided with mounts, and when thou saidst, "I can find no mounts for you," they turned back, their eyes streaming with tears of grief that they had no resources wherewith to provide the expenses.

009.111
Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.

009.120
It was not fitting for the people of Medina and the Bedouin Arabs of the neighbourhood, to refuse to follow Allah's Messenger, nor to prefer their own lives to his: because nothing could they suffer or do, but was reckoned to their credit as a deed of righteousness,- whether they suffered thirst, or fatigue, or hunger, in the cause of Allah, or trod paths to raise the ire of the Unbelievers, or received any injury whatever from an enemy: for Allah suffereth not the reward to be lost of those who do good;-

009.122
Nor should the Believers all go forth together: if a contingent from every expedition remained behind, they could devote themselves to studies in religion, and admonish the people when they return to them,- that thus they (may learn) to guard themselves (against evil).

009.123
O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.

In verse 9:25 it makes mentions of "Hunain" a battle between Muslim forces under Muhammad against two tribes who refused to accept Muhammad's "invitation" to join Islam. Read the whole story here, but in short the two tribes refused to worship Allah and they knew that Muhammad was not going to take no for an answer. It was either submission or fight for their freedom.

Additionally, verse 9:81 refers to a "Tabuk expedition" which is when Muhammad led an army into Roman territory. He never entered Roman land because the Romans backed off, but this enterprise illustrates an excellent picture of how jihad affects a community. The story stats that Muslims volunteered their time to participate in the jihad; others who were unable to venture with Muhammad provided financial backing, such as supplying the army with camels. Now a day, jihadism in the community is practiced by naming streets after terrorists, or supporting a suicide bomber's family.

It is still the same as it was back then in the time of the supposedly "great" prophet Muhammad. Winston Churchill was right when he said that when it comes to Islam, "No stronger retrograde force exists in the world."

Governments Need to Control the Masses

All governments, sooner or later will attempt to control their inhabitants. It is even worse when the control is coming from Big Government. A small administration has no need or power to outstretch its arms of control further into its citizen's lives. On the other hand, when a government soaks up too much power the only object that matters is more power.

A familiar and effective tactic used is to placate the inhabitants with material goods. If people get more infuriated over losing cable TV for a week then losing their privacy (in regards to the government) then the job is done. Just give everyone 300+ channels on satellite and their happy. Also create a comfortable environment so that people never have to agonize over their wellbeing; the government might be rounding up "dissenters," but at least you will not be poor when you die. In short, the government uses materialism as a shackle to bind our freedom to their whims.

"Neither the wisest constitutions nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt."

-Samuel Adams

"No people will tamely surrender their liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffusd and virtue is preserved. On the contrary, when people are universally ignorant, and debauched in their manners, they will sink under their own weight without the aid of foreign invaders." -Samuel Adams

Another recognizable ploy for further authority is the "the government wants to help you" scheme. Why would an administration as strong as big government want to help the little people; think about it. Is it due to the fact that they sincerely "love" you or maybe more power is what they are after? Do they ban certain foods because they want to help, or for the reason that it gives them more control over your life? The government is incapable of having feelings, due to the fact that greedy, selfish, and arrogant politicians run it. If one does not trust the politicians managing the administration then why trust what they offer?

"It could probably be shown by facts and figures that there is no distinctly American criminal c1ass except Congress." -Mark Twain

"I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending on objects of benevolence with the money of their constituents." -James Madison, 1794

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

Some nice read

Psalm 69:1-36 ESV

"Save me, O God! For the waters have come up to my neck.t I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and the flood sweeps over me. I am weary with my crying out; my throat is parched. My eyes grow dim with waiting for my God. More in number than the hairs of my head are those who hate me without cause; mighty are those who would destroy me, those who attack me with lies. What I did not steal must I now restore?

O God, you know my folly; the wrongs I have done are not hidden from you. Let not those who hope in you be put to shame through me, O Lord God of hosts; let not those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel. For it is for your sake that I have borne reproach, that dishonor has covered my face. I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother's sons. For zeal for your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me. When I wept and humbledt my soul with fasting, it became my reproach. When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them. I am the talk of those who sit in the gate, and the drunkards make songs about me. But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness. Deliver me from sinking in the mire; let me be delivered from my enemies and from the deep waters. Let not the flood sweep over me, or the deep swallow me up, or the pit close its mouth over me.

Answer me, O Lord, for your steadfast love is good; according to your abundant mercy, turn to me. Hide not your face from your servant; for I am in distress; make haste to answer me. Draw near to my soul, redeem me; ransom me because of my enemies! You know my reproach, and my shame and my dishonor; my foes are all known to you. Reproaches have broken my heart, so that I am in despair. I looked for pity, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none. They gave me poison for food, and for my thirst they gave me sour wine to drink. Let their own table before them become a snare; and when they are at peace, let it become a trap.t Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see, and make their loins tremble continually. Pour out your indignation upon them, and let your burning anger overtake them. May their camp be a desolation; let no one dwell in their tents. For they persecute him whom you have struck down, and they recount the pain of those you have wounded. Add to them punishment upon punishment; may they have no acquittal from you.t Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; let them not be enrolled among the righteous. But I am afflicted and in pain; let your salvation, O God, set me on high! I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving. This will please the Lord more than an ox or a bull with horns and hoofs. When the humble see it they will be glad; you who seek God, let your hearts revive. For the Lord hears the needy and does not despise his own people who are prisoners. Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and everything that moves in them. For God will save Zion and build up the cities of Judah, and people shall dwell there and possess it; the offspring of his servants shall inherit it, and those who love his name shall dwell in it."

The Korans War Verses: Part 3

Geert Wilders once said that if one removes all the violent verses from the Koran it would be the size of a comic book. That is, if one removed the violent and "un-godly" material, such as pro-slavery and pro-prostitution verses, polygamy, and all the infidel hate speech the Koran would not be worth reading.

Part 1

Part 2

008.005
Just as thy Lord ordered thee out of thy house in truth, even though a party among the Believers disliked it,

008.007
Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;

008.009
Remember ye implored the assistance of your Lord, and He answered you: "I will assist you with a thousand of the angels, ranks on ranks."

008.012
Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."

008.015
O ye who believe! when ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them.

008.016
If any do turn his back to them on such a day - unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own)- he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed)!

008.017
It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah: when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah's: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).

008.039
And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.

008.042
Remember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).

008.045
O ye who believe! When ye meet a force, be firm, and call Allah in remembrance much (and often); that ye may prosper:

008.059
Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the godly): they will never frustrate (them).

008.065
O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding.

008.067
It is not fitting for a prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. Ye look for the temporal goods of this world; but Allah looketh to the Hereafter: And Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.

008.069
But (now) enjoy what ye took in war, lawful and good: but fear Allah: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

008.071
But if they have treacherous designs against thee, (O Messenger!), they have already been in treason against Allah, and so hath He given (thee) power over them. And Allah so He Who hath (full) knowledge and wisdom.

008.072
Those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the Faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) friends and protectors, one of another. As to those who believed but came not into exile, ye owe no duty of protection to them until they come into exile; but if they seek your aid in religion, it is your duty to help them, except against a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance. And (remember) Allah seeth all that ye do.

008.073

The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief.

008.074
Those who believe, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith, in the cause of Allah as well as those who give (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) in very truth the Believers: for them is the forgiveness of sins and a provision most generous.

008.075
And those who accept Faith subsequently, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith in your company,- they are of you. But kindred by blood have prior rights against each other in the Book of Allah. Verily Allah is well-acquainted with all things.

The Korans War Verses: Part 2

The Koran is a book of peace, not so much. There is not one piece of the Koran that teaches to love other people; especially non-believers. Muhammad did not seem to get the message that love is more powerful than violence or he would have attempted to behave lovingly and benevolently. One can tell who a man was by what he wrote, and the Koran proves that point. Additionally, these war verses explain why Islam produces the so many terrorists. Italics mine.

Part 1

004.071
O ye who believe! Take your precautions, and either go forth in parties or go forth all together.

004.072
There are certainly among you men who would tarry behind: If a misfortune befalls you, they say: "Allah did favour us in that we were not present among them."

004.073
But if good fortune comes to you from Allah, they would be sure to say - as if there had never been Ties of affection between you and them - "Oh! I wish I had been with them; a fine thing should I then have made of it!"

004.074
Let those fight in the cause of Allah Who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fighteth in the cause of Allah,- whether he is slain or gets victory - Soon shall We give him a reward of great (value).

004.075
And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!"

004.076
Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who reject Faith Fight in the cause of Evil: So fight ye against the friends of Satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan.

004.077
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were told to hold back their hands (from fight) but establish regular prayers and spend in regular charity? When (at length) the order for fighting was issued to them, behold! a section of them feared men as - or even more than - they should have feared Allah: They said: "Our Lord! Why hast Thou ordered us to fight? Wouldst Thou not Grant us respite to our (natural) term, near (enough)?" Say: "Short is the enjoyment of this world: the Hereafter is the best for those who do right: Never will ye be dealt with unjustly in the very least!

004.084
Then fight in Allah's cause - Thou art held responsible only for thyself - and rouse the believers. It may be that Allah will restrain the fury of the Unbelievers; for Allah is the strongest in might and in punishment.

004.089
They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;

004.091
Others you will find that wish to gain your confidence as well as that of their people: Every time they are sent back to temptation, they succumb thereto: if they withdraw not from you nor give you (guarantees) of peace besides restraining their hands, seize them and slay them wherever ye get them: In their case We have provided you with a clear argument against them.

004.094
O ye who believe! When ye go abroad in the cause of Allah, investigate carefully, and say not to any one who offers you a salutation: "Thou art none of a believer!" Coveting the perishable goods of this life: with Allah are profits and spoils abundant. Even thus were ye yourselves before, till Allah conferred on you His favours: Therefore carefully investigate. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.

004.095
Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,

004.100
He who forsakes his home in the cause of Allah, finds in the earth Many a refuge, wide and spacious: Should he die as a refugee from home for Allah and His Messenger, His reward becomes due and sure with Allah: And Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

004.102
When thou (O Messenger) art with them, and standest to lead them in prayer, Let one party of them stand up (in prayer) with thee, Taking their arms with them: When they finish their prostrations, let them Take their position in the rear. And let the other party come up which hath not yet prayed - and let them pray with thee, Taking all precaution, and bearing arms: the Unbelievers wish, if ye were negligent of your arms and your baggage, to assault you in a single rush. But there is no blame on you if ye put away your arms because of the inconvenience of rain or because ye are ill; but take (every) precaution for yourselves. For the Unbelievers Allah hath prepared a humiliating punishment.

004.104
And slacken not in following up the enemy: If ye are suffering hardships, they are suffering similar hardships; but ye have Hope from Allah, while they have none. And Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

The Korans War Verses: Part 1

The Koran is supposedly a "peaceful" book full of love and kindness as if it was written by a hippie in the sixties. Such statements are not true since every Islamic terrorist group owes its violent goals and radicalism to this holy book. Muslim terrorists are not flying planes into skyscrapers because they misconstrued several passages in the Koran. Their god commanded them to defend their faith and the best defense is a good offense . . .

109 war verses exist in the Koran according to Don Richardson in his "Secrets of the Koran" (page 253-254). Passages that mention war in storytelling, such as David and Goliath, etc, are not included; also passages where their god afflicts non-muslims. This will be a series due to the fact that it would be enormously long if it was not. Italics are mine.

002.178
O ye who believe! the law of equality is prescribed to you in cases of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the woman for the woman. But if any remission is made by the brother of the slain, then grant any reasonable demand, and compensate him with handsome gratitude, this is a concession and a Mercy from your Lord. After this whoever exceeds the limits shall be in grave penalty.

002.179
In the Law of Equality there is (saving of) Life to you, o ye men of understanding; that ye may restrain yourselves.

002.190
Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors.

002.191
And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.

002.192
But if they cease, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

002.193
And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah; but if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression.

002.216
Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.

002.217
They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein.

002.218
Those who believed and those who suffered exile and fought (and strove and struggled) in the path of Allah,- they have the hope of the Mercy of Allah: And Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

002.224
And make not Allah's (name) an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth all things.

003.121
Remember that morning Thou didst leave Thy household (early) to post the faithful at their stations for battle: And Allah heareth and knoweth all things:

003.122
Remember two of your parties Meditated cowardice; but Allah was their protector, and in Allah should the faithful (Ever) put their trust.

003.123
Allah had helped you at Badr, when ye were a contemptible little force; then fear Allah; thus May ye show your gratitude.

003.124
Remember thou saidst to the Faithful: "Is it not enough for you that Allah should help you with three thousand angels (Specially) sent down?

003.125
"Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught.

003.140
If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong.

003.155
Those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts Met,-it was Satan who caused them to fail, because of some (evil) they had done. But Allah Has blotted out (their fault): For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.

003.165
What! When a single disaster smites you, although ye smote (your enemies) with one twice as great, do ye say?- "Whence is this?" Say (to them): "It is from yourselves: For Allah hath power over all things."

003.166
What ye suffered on the day the two armies Met, was with the leave of Allah, in order that He might test the believers.

003.167
And the Hypocrites also. These were told: "Come, fight in the way of Allah, or (at least) drive (The foe from your city)." They said: "Had we known how to fight, we should certainly have followed you." They were that day nearer to Unbelief than to Faith, saying with their lips what was not in their hearts but Allah hath full knowledge of all they conceal.

003.168
(They are) the ones that say, (of their brethren slain), while they themselves sit (at ease): "If only they had listened to us they would not have been slain." Say: "Avert death from your own selves, if ye speak the truth."

003.169
Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord;

003.173
Men said to them: "A great army is gathering against you": And frightened them: But it (only) increased their Faith: They said: "For us Allah sufficeth, and He is the best disposer of affairs."

003.195
And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the presence of Allah, and from His presence is the best of rewards."

Violent Material in American Mosques

Mosques have always been looked on as a problem when it comes to radical Islam. The Cordoba mosque planned to be built by Ground Zero showed us that mosques can and are funded for the wrong reasons and by the wrong people. The Muslim Brotherhood has extensive control over most muslim affairs here in North America and it is safe to say that they influence the majority of American mosques whether direct or indirectly. Yet despite all this, there has never been any substantial evidence that American Mosques promote violent, anti-Western, Sharia Law material. That has changed.

A new study published by the highly respected journal, Middle East Quarterly confirms the theory that the vast majority of mosques here in the US support Sharia Law and Jihadist ideals. The study, entitled "Shari'a and Violence in American Mosques" is an "assiduously researched, peer-reviewed study" [1] written by David Yerushalmi and Dr. Mordechai Kedar. For the methodology of how the survey of mosques was conducted see page 68 in Sharia and Violence in American Mosques.

One of the most disturbing finding in the report is the amount of violent texts that are present in mosques. The assortment of books found ranged from contemporary printed pamphlets and handouts to c1assic manuscripts of the Islamic canon. [2] Furthermore, the literature was graded, by the level of promotion of jihad as severe, moderate, or nonexistent. [3]

The moderate-rated literature was authored by respected Shari'a religious and/or legal authorities; while expressing positive attitudes toward violence, it was predominantly concerned with the more mundane aspects of religious worship and ritual. The severe material, by contrast, largely consists of relatively recent texts written by ideologues, rather than Shari'a scholars, such as Abul Ala Mawdudi and Sayyid Qutb. [4]

Both Mawdudi and Qutb believe in violent jihad. In Mawdudi's "Jihad in Islam," (this was found in numerous mosques surveyed) he encourages Muslims to use force to establish Sharia-based order. [5] Likewise, Qutb's Milestones permits Muslims to use physical force to conqueror any infidel standing in the way of the expansion of Islam. [6] In addition, many of the c1assical works found in the mosques surveyed championed violence in the name of Islam. "Works by several respected jurists and scholars from the four major Sunni schools of jurisprudence, dating from the eighth to fourteenth centuries, are all in agreement that violent jihad against non-Muslims is a religious obligation." [7]

In the same manner, both the Umdat as-Salik (Reliance of the Traveler), the Fiqh as-Sunna, and the Tafsir Ibn Kathir, though they all focus on theological matters, the family, the individual believer, etc, express positive views on jihad.

From Reliance of the Traveler:

The caliph … makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians … provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax. The caliph fights all other peoples until they become Muslim … because they are not a people with a book, nor honored as such, and are not permitted to settle with paying the poll tax. [8]

From Fiqh as-Sunna:

Ibn Abbas reported that the Prophet, upon whom be peace, said, "The ties of Islam and the principles of the religion are three, and whoever leaves one of them becomes an unbeliever, and his blood becomes lawful: testifying that there is no god except God, the obligatory prayers, and the fast of Ramadan." … Another narration states, "If anyone leaves one of [the three principles], by God he becomes an unbeliever, and no voluntary deeds or recompense will be accepted from him, and his blood and wealth become lawful." This is a clear indication that such a person is to be killed. [9]

And from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

Perform jihad against the disbelievers with the sword, and be harsh with the hypocrites with words, and this is the jihad performed against them. [10]

Another disturbing fact revealed in the survey is that of the 100 mosques examined 51 contained severe material and 30 contained moderate material; only 19 had no material. 81 of the 100 mosques promoted violent jihad, while only 19 did not. Additionally, 80 out of the 100 mosques endorse a caliphate in the United States, and 81 of the 100 mosques also sanction terror against the West. [11]

This study shows that American Imams and mosques are routinely advancing the radical Islamic goals and ideals of Jihad, financial jihad, Sharia Law, and the Global Caliphate. 82 of the 100 mosques have an Imam recommending studying texts that encourage violence. Also, half of the mosques surveyed invited Imams or preachers who are known to support violent Jihad. [12] Many muslims are innocent when it comes to radicalism, but the Imams and other Islamic teachers are far from blameless. The study makes this clear,

The results of this survey do not indicate the percentage of American Muslims that actually attend mosques with any regularity, nor does it reveal what relative percentage of American Muslims demonstrate Shari'a-adherent or non-adherent behaviors. Moreover, although this study shows that imams at Shari'a-adherent mosques recommend studying violence-positive materials and utilize their mosques for support of violent jihad, it does not capture the individual attendees' attitudes toward religiously sanctioned violence. [13]

It is important to realize that Muslims who attend violence promoting mosques are not untouched by such radical material and most likely if the individuals attending these mosques are well educated they would be aware of the violent rhetoric in the mosque they are participating in. In fact, mosques with severe material had the highest attendance (a mean attendance of 118 worshipers). Mosques with moderate material had a mean attendance of 60 worshipers and mosques with no material had a pathetic mean attendance of 15. [14]

In conclusion, American mosques are not as innocent as they were once perceived. Even though the majority of muslims are supposedly "moderate" it is not logical why moderate muslims would be present at a radical mosque. A lot has to change before Islam can take its place as a respectful religion.

Songs of the week

Well, here are two songs I've written, got a lot more where that came from. :D

35 cents

35 cents is all you ever got

Buy groceries for a week

Or nice silk dress

35 cents is all you ever got

Get a tank of gas

Or a soda pop

35 cents is all you ever got

Chorus

35 cents was a fortune for a kid

35 cents could make a weekend full of fun

35 cents could get you ever prize at the fair

Whatever happened to those 35 cents

Whatever happened to the fun we had

Who stole our 35 cents

35 cents is all you ever got

Take your girlfriend to the movies with it

Or take her to dinner

35 cents is all you ever got

Buy a doll sister

Or a dog brother

35 cents is all you ever got

I'll take you out to have fun girl

With my 35 cents

While we were having fun babe

They stole our 35 cents

It disappeared girl

35 cents is all you've got

Down by the Beach

I see you dancing down by the beach

I see your hair alive in the breeze

Your smile setting the mood

And I wonder

Chorus

How can we feel the same for each other

How can this feeling grow

To let us share a mutual love for each other

How could it be that we're here

The tide is growing and we'll have to move

Our feet wet, our hearts whetted

And I love you now more than ever

How can this be

Down by the beach, a love kindled

The sun's setting, and we'll be leaving

Too bad for the lonely, I'm not one anymore

Independence Day

Happy Fourth of July, when the Declaration of Independence was adopted stating the wrongs committed by the King of England against the colonies and officially breaking away from England.

Most Americans today do not fully understand the risk our Founding Fathers took in declaring independence from Great Britain. They were going up against the superpower of their day. Also, the majority of the American colonists were farmers who had never received any military training. It is extraordinary how a group of colonists, unprepared for war, defeated the most powerful army in the world at the time. How did such a rag-tag assembly of farmers defeat Great Britain? Well, our Founding Fathers attributed it to Divine Providence.

Samuel Adams, 1795:

We owe our unceasing gratitude to the Supreme Ruler of the Universe, who safely carried us though our arduous struggle for freedom.

George Washington:

[The adoption of the Constitution] will demonstrate as visibly the finger of Providence as any possible event in the course of human affairs can ever designate it.

Benjamin Franklin:

In the beginning of the contest with G. Britain, when we were sensible of danger we had daily prayer in this room for the Divine Protection. — Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a Superintending providence in our favor. To that kind providence we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity. And have we now forgotten that powerful friend? Or do we imagine that we no longer need His assistance.

I have lived, Sir, a long time and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth — that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid?

John Adams:

The object is great which we have in view, and we must expect a great expense of blood to obtain it. But we should always remember that a free constitution of civil government cannot be purchased at too dear a rate, as there is nothing on this side of Jerusalem of equal importance to mankind.

God was on our side in the revolution. That was the only explanation the Founders knew of why their struggle for freedom ended in victory. Our Founding Fathers also knew that God was the one to thank for bringing them through such hard trials alive; they were humbled. Furthermore, this was the only time in history when a revolution took place and the culture was still extant and not radically changed; for once, a revolution did not turn the society into a wasteland of ideals. The Founding Fathers had no need or desire to alter their society, except to instill virtue, a superior form of government, and a God-fearing attitude. Perhaps the best example of this is the service for July 4th, in the 1785 American Proposed Book of Common Prayer entitled, "A Form of Prayer and Thanksgiving to Almighty God, for the inestimable Blessings of Religious and Civil Liberty; to be used yearly Fourth Day of July."

O God, whose Name is excellent in all the earth, and they glory above the heavens, who as on this day didst inspire and direct the hearts of our delegates in Congress, to lay the perpetual foundations of peace, liberty, and safety; we bless and adore thy glorious Majesty, for this thy loving kindness and providence. And we humbly pray that the devout sense of this signal mercy may renew and increase in us in spirit of love and thankfulness to thee its only author, a spirit of peaceable sub mission to the laws and government of our country, and a spirit of fervent zeal for our holy religion, which thou hast preserved and secured to us and our posterity. May we improve these inestimable blessings for the advancement of religion, liberty, and science throughout this land, till the wilderness and solitary place be glad through us, and the desert rejoice and blossom as the rose. This we beg through the merits of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

God bless the United States of American

God bless our freedoms

God bless . . .

Does the Bible Mention Muhammad

Since Islam is supposedly the uncorrupted version/continuation of Christianity it is only natural that the followers of Islam would attempt to prove the legitimacy of their claims to the people whose religion they are labeling corrupt. Several passages from the Bible are used to prove that the Bible foretold the coming of Muhammad. Why attempt to prove that Muhammad was Biblical prophesied? Well, if one proves that he was part of Biblical prophecy then all Christians would be obligated to become Muslims, because then Islam is the legitimate continuation of Christianity. Consequently, Muslims apply Deuteronomy 18:15, 18 and John 14:16 as proof of the "prophet" Muhammad's authenticity and Islam as a "follow up" to Christianity.

Deuteronomy 18:15, 18 . . .

The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me [Moses] from among you, from you brothers – it is to him you shall listen . . . I [God] will raise up for them a prophet like you [Moses} from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.

Now obviously, this passage is referring to the coming of Jesus Christ; Jesus was a prophet (John 6:14, Matthew 21:11, Luke 24: 18-19), he was "from among you, from your brothers," an Israelite (see the genealogies of Matthew 1 and Luke 3), and he proclaimed everything that God commanded him (John 7:16, John 8:28, and John 12:49).

Furthermore, many New Testament authors acknowledged that Jesus was the prophet promised in Deuteronomy. Peter said in Acts 3:19-23,

Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago, Moses said, 'the Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen to him in whatever he tells you. And it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet shall be destroyed from the people. (Acts 3:19-23)

Also, in John 5:46, Jesus stats that "For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me." Stephen too recognized Jesus as the fulfillment of the prophecy in Deuteronomy; read Acts 7:37-53. In Short, these Bible verses and historical knowledge prove that Deuteronomy 18:15, 18 does not prophecy Muhammad.

In addition to Deuteronomy, John 14:16 is also believed by Muslims to mention Muhammad, even though this is not the case.

John 14:16-17 (in its entirety) . . .

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

Muslim scholars state that the "Helper" in verse sixteen is actually referring to Muhammad instead of the Holy Spirit. However, the verse describes the "Helper" as dwelling inside of us and being with us forever. That alone shows that the Holy Spirit, not Muhammad, is mentioned in that passage. Jesus also refers to the "Helper" as the Holy Spirit (John 14:26), not some assistant prophet to come.

Yet, there is another argument that says that in the New Testament Greek manuscripts the word "paracletos" (which means advocate) is a corrupted reading for Periclytos (which means "Ahmad" or "Muhammad"). Nevertheless, no manuscript evidence exists to support this claim. Over 5,000 manuscripts are now available, but not one mentions "periclytos" in any of them. One would suppose that Islamic scholars claiming that the Greek word "paracletos" is actually "periclytos" would have first attempted to find evidence to support their assumption, but alas not everyone thinks that way.

One humorous side to all of this is the fact that Muslims, who believe that the Bible is tarnished, draw on verses and passages from a deemed corrupt text to prove that their prophet is an official servant sent from God. Their using "corrupted" material to prove something as fact; that does not work in the real world. The Bible never declares Muhammad as a prophet of God, much less acknowledges him.
