The first resistance I couldn't get into. The second was enough of an improvement to get me interested in the game enough to complete it. Good not great. On the other hand I had a hard time putting Killzone 2 down. Great single player and multi-player. Only after MW2 came out did killzone 2 get a rest.

Nope, 1st off the 80gb uses firmware software to emulate only the ps2 cpu. The ps2 gpu is still part of the system motherboard. Changing out the harddrive will not effect backwards compatability as the ps2 gpu is stil on the mobo and the firmware is stored on NAND flash on the mobo.

Mario World 2 Yoshis Island is a different game then mario world and I think Nintendo should have just called it Yoshis Island as the game does not play like a typicall mario game with mario playing a secondary minor role. You play the game primarily as Yoshi throwing shells at adversaries with a baby mario on your back.
