There are quite a few PC games that look better than Uncharted 2.

Witcher doesnt, Empire total Wardoesnt, battlefield 2 doesnt and Far Cry 2 all maxed at 1600x 1020 or whateverdoesnt look better than U2 imo. I ordered Clear Sky yesterday we'll see if that looks better than Uncharted. Like i said, only PC game i can honestly say looks better than any console game is Crysis (Warhead i will have later this week). Hermits need to keep it real you only have one franchise that stands over all console games graphically.
You've got to look at what the engine is doing as well. Not just what it is showing.
Empire: Total War renders a lot more than Uncharted 2 will, and for all that it looks excellent (for an RTS). Clear Sky looks better, and is only enhanced visually with mods.
Technically Uncharted 2 can't really stand up to software coded around the PC, as it's just much more powerful.
Graphics are what you see. If you can't see it does it really make a difference just knowing that more processing is taking place? I believe people mean "best-looking game" not that it's processing graphics faster than another engine or anything technical like that. Obviously nothing on consoles look like Crysis, the hardware is much beefier, it's a given... conversely, there is nothing on PC like Uncharted or God of War either. Each platform has their advantages and disadvantages. After watching the trailer and gameplay footage for U2, I am pretty skeptical that anyone who is trashing it actually watched it. You may not like the game or the concept or hate the first one or hate the PS3, but how can the trailer not look exceptional to you? I definitely lean to the Sony side of the system wars debate, even though I have a PS3, 360 and PC under my roof, but it doesn't mean I can't say Splinter Cell: Conviction looks fantastic and probably will be a AAAE, or that Alan Wake looks phenomenal and is the first game that actually looks legitimately scary in years and years, and will also likely be a AAA title. Just watch the videos and pretend the game is coming to your console if that helps. U2 looks absolutely fantastic to me, and not just because of the graphics. I will find out how the MP is tomorrow when I download the beta and play it.
