It seems like the "X360" in the thread title is just there to create controversy. It has already been confirmed multiple times to NOT be a 360 exclusive.
After Ubisoft's performance, I think I can change my score for MS' conference from a B to a AAA+. Man that is hard to watch. Worst E3 performance ever?
i'm not anticipatng sony showing many new games. i think it'll be mostly new footage and info on games we already know about like god of war 3. i have a feeling nintendo will be the winner this year.Zero5000X
I am sure Sony hasn't shown all their cards. There is still Kojima tomorrow, and people are definitely hoping to see Trico etc. Sony tends to announce things way in advance, so maybe they will announce 2010 and 2011 projects while showing off footage of the ones announced at previous years which are almost ready to launch.
Well, atleast we know Ninty's conference won't be the worst. :D

LOL don't count your chickens before they hatch. Nintendo last year was godawful beyond words, they can do anything if they really try! ;) Still, the bar is being set pretty GD high... or low I guess I should say.
Twas good, but could be better... I expect Sony to be as good as, if not better than MS's conference in terms of games, but I just want Sony to throw out features to accompany them. Games are important, but they aren't the only thing.GodofBigMacs
For the most part you can keep the features. If features relate to webcams, Facebook etc. I will gladly take the games over the features. Sony only needs a few more things, like cross-game VOIP chat, before they are up to par with XBL on the gaming-specific things, in my humble opinion. Microsoft announcing a free version of XBL that allows you to play MP games would have been a true megaton, I think they should cut the price at least instead of adding more features that you will have to pay again to use anyway like VOD. To some people it might enhance the value of their XBL subscription, but to me and everyone I know we don't use any of that stuff. We check the marketplace, play music, watch movies, download patches, send voice and text messages to one another, and play games. I don't use any of the other features, and I wouldn't start now. I have a PC for all of those things.

He means Microsoft, but he is incorrect. The MS rep just said they had exclusive previews of all 10 of the games. The Modern Warfare 2 footage was exclusive, for example, but obviously the game is not. Of the 10 games the true 360 exclusives were Splinter Cell: Conviction, Joy Ride, Halo ODST, Halo Reach, Crackdown 2, and the Epic one that I think is called Shadow Edge but I may be wrong. They called Alan Wake an exclusive, which does not work with system wars rules as I understand them. Same with Left 4 Dead 2. A totally new Halo game should be bigger news IMO. We knew about ODST but Reach is totally new and they just sort of slipped it in there without much of a delivery. They should have trumpeted up that trailer a bit more. It seems like they put most of their eggs in the Natal basket, which is hit or miss. Some people were mind-blown and others shrugged.

Haha. I've done this 3 times now, and each has been a long, long post. This time I'll make it short, or you can go back to about page 100-106 and see me or someone else break it down a bunch of times. Games: Rock Band Beatles (exclusive tracks), Modern Warfare 2 (timed exclusive MP maps), Joy Ride (avatar based car game full of fail), Shadow's Edge (Cliffy B Epic game made for XBLA, resembles Bionic Commando), Splinter Cell Conviction (amazing), Forza 3 (puzzling b/c of an abrupt end to the gameplay video), Halo ODST (full length game now, though "full length" these days means 5 hours so that's not saying much), Halo Reach (new Bungie Halo, prequel to CE, looks awesome), Left 4 Dead 2 (way too early for a sequel Valve - people are angry), Crackdown 2 (has competitive MP this time), and ALAN WAKE (BEST IN SHOW SO FAR). After that they announced new functionalities for XBL. Facebook YAWN Twitter YAWN an HD VOD service they claim has "the best picture available" (apparenty they have never heard of Bluray) YAWN and Last.FM YAWN. Then they got ready for a big announcement, and Hideo Kojima came onto the stage to the sound of the MGS alert noise. A puzzled, polite smattering of applause went around, Hideo professed his joy to be working on a game for the 360, and the guys on stage tried way too hard to pretend they cared too. Really it was an embarrassingly lukewarm reception. He announced a new Metal Gear game called Metal Gear Rising, starring Raiden with a heavier focus on action. It is NOT an exclusive, though some fans would love it to be so. Basically there will be an MGS on the 360 now, it just won't be the main installment of the series. Then they showed off their new motion-sensing camera, which is basically an EyeToy on steroids. It is called Project Natal, and it has truly amazing facial recognition techniques and has the potential to break through to the next level of immersion... but it also looks like a serious gimmick to cash in on the Wii pulling all the casuals into gaming. Based on the gameplay shown it's like playing a Wii without holding a controller. I am on the fence about this one, but I am leaning towards gimmick. That's all. EA and Ubisoft just finished theirs, they were kind of uneven and not as watchable as MS'.
He basically just told us everything that happens in the entire movie. I bet when he finishes and waits for applause all you will hear is a gunshot, the sound of the last audience member taking his own life.bobbetybob
