[QUOTE="Johnny_Rock"]We wouldn't be affected to such an extent because we only get like 20% of our oil from the middle east. That's kind of shortsighted to think that our oil supply will be the only thing affected.I hope it does not happen. If it does happen and Iran closes the straight of Hormuz, we can see gas prices near the 20 dollar mark by fall.

OK. . . And how will Israel exactly do that? And what do they plan on dealing with the aftermath? Iran isn't as weak as their previous targets, Iraq or Syria.
Sure he should be re-elected. Who's the other choice? Romney?
I don't care for most of it. The only two songs I liked were from Flux Pavilion. Base Cannon and Can't Stop. Jay-z and Kanye sampled Can't stop for The Throne.
What if the virus is airborne and only a few people are resistant to it? Also, zombies might be dumb but they were pretty fast in Dawn of the Dead though.Containing a zombie threat would be pretty easy. The only reason it's hard in movies and what not is because the characters are stupid and suck at fighting them. Why not use tanks? Zombies can't do ****.

I've been watching The Walking Dead recently and it got me thinking about the end of the world as we know it. We all know about the zombie apocalypse, but what about the others?
Mad Max: Nuclear apocalypse ends most life and people live in a mostly lawless land
Waterworld: The ocean level rises and everyone has to live on boats, small islands, etc.
Alien: Something like Battlefield Earth maybe. Aliens kill most people and enslave most of the remainders.
Environmental: Think of the movie 2012.
BTW, it didn't mention a Fallout-style one with mutants, etc. because that would by far be the worst, and we're trying to think about the most liveable situation.
TC, this is not the place to discuss Islam. It always degenerates into infantile and ignorant comments.
It was bound to happen. The yen appreciated against the dollar by a huge amount. 5 years ago it was 120 to $1. Now it's 76 to $1. It's alot more expensive to make stuff in Japan now. The earthquake and tsunami didn't help either.
#4: Are you kidding me. Of course, YES!!
Yeah, like the other guy said, try to get a plug/ patch first. If your spare is new or in pretty good shape they should have no problem switching it (at least here in the US).
