So the PS3 slim for $299 and the Elite for $299 which will consumers choose this holiday season?jakarai

The PS3 obviously. The thing is that Microsoft is smart business wise for bringing consumers the cheaper arcade SKU at $199 (which plays halo 3, call of duty mw2, forza 2, gears of wars 2, dante's inferno and that matters most)

GS probably f'd up like they do with big reviews sometimes. Based on the other reviews and what I've played (full game is at gamestop) the game should be 8-8.5. Btw, it doesn't matter to me because I just picked up NFL 2k5 for $.99 for Xbox from gamestop and I've ordered a transfer cable off ebay so I can update the rosters on nfl 2k5! So basically I play $10 for a football game with better gameplay/presentation.

que? what does one have to do with the other? and Uncharted was $60 for almost 2 years. the real point was the fact that the game remained full price all that time. it remained so because it was one of the consistent sellers.

Why aren't you using your head? Ok, the whole idea is to sell the 160gb PS3 as you'll make a bigger profit margin off that. If they dropped the price to Uncharted to $30, that would be a bigger incentive to get the 80GB PS3 and Uncharted for $430 total rather than paying $500 for the 160gb PS3.

WRONG, it's because it's a part of the 160 GB Bundle, which rettailers for $500. That's the ONLY reason that Uncharted hasn't joined the greatest hits...

Considering that Uncharted is still at a $60 price tag(why has Sony refused to price drop this game?) and is yet to be labled as a Greatest Hits title, there's no way it's going to be sold for a $9.99 price tag at Best Buy. That's how I know this is fake.

Nope, just stating the truth. But then again, I know more about the history of hype, as I've been here for years.

Any games that look the best overall are going to be hyped as you approach the date. The PS3 just happens to have some of the big ones for this year that aren't already overly popular like Call of Duty MW2 and look like they could be game of the year. Forza and GT5 look the best for their genres, and this is System Wars, so they're going to be talked about and hyped (why the **** would you hype a racing game anyways, lol). Joking aside, the best looking games will be hyped.
