I wasn't going to get a Wii U for a multitude of reasons. As of a couple weeks ago, I was kind of curious about the NX in hopes that it would be backwards compatible. I could get the console for the new games, but also get access to the Wii U library that I missed out on (though that's a pretty short list).
Now the console is announced with yet ANOTHER horrific name and we know its just going to be an under-powered tablet with no backwards compatibility. Also, you know damn well that the third party support is going to be just as bad as it was with the Wii U where companies will only give the Switch a fraction of the games that the competition will get, plus the Switch will likely get dumbed-down versions of what few games it receives.
My excitement for Nintendo is pretty much at zero now.
The survival game may sound dumb, but I don't think Kojima should be making statements like "Where do zombies fit in with that?" with all of the weird, unbelievable, dumb stuff that's been forced into the series already.
You can tell MS is doing something right with Scorpio when this many butt-hurt trolls are trying to talk crap about it. Gamers are happy to hear there will be more high-end options to choose from. The trolls and fanboys, on the other hand, are getting worried and desperate.
"If you preorder its $80 Deluxe edition, you receive access to two more pieces of additional content. The first includes four short side stories, while the second adds another episode to the main game."
...and with that, what little faith I had for RE7 has gone out the window. I'm sick of prices going up for games. The deluxe edition has content that SHOULD be in the standard edition.
Nope. Not doing it. I doubt I will even get it with some absurd discount on the eventual "GotY edition". I'm speaking with my wallet on this one.
