It's bad enough when the drones blindly buy this generic, DLC-ridden crap up and help toss this industry into the gutter. What's worse is when you hear those people try to defend themselves. It's like listening to someone being controlled by some sort of hive mind. They look human, but no longer are.
I'm looking forward to the first-person-only servers. The way you can cheese the system in 3rd person by being able to see people while staying hidden always felt dumb to me.
Despite the terrible menus at launch and the fact that too many maps offer easy steamrolling, the game was overall good and a nice change of pace from everything else being done. It's still fun to pop on once and awhile for a quick match.
People are still trying to say the xbox login is the issue? That doesn't explain why Sony wouldn't allow cross-platform play with X1 and Switch on Rocket League even though there are no login issues there. In addition, back when DC Online was owned by Sony they used to force you to make a PSN account even though you were on PC.
So one of two things are going on here. Either the login isn't really an issue and Sony is just being a bunch of anti-gamer morons, or they are being hypocrites about the whole thing. Either way, I say forget them and move on. Let PC, Switch, and Xbox gamers play together. Playstation users can go play with themselves.
Slime Rancher is insanely fun if you are into that genre. The devs put a lot of content and secrets in it, plus I believe they have plans to add even more content. Good call, MS! This should give the game lots of recognition.
@Pyrosa: I'm well aware they aren't involved with it. My point is that Dying Light and Dead Island 2 where originally going to be going head to head, but Dying Light is dominating while DI2 is in limbo.
