I'm skipping gears 2

I really liked the original but I had my fill of it. I don't really want an expansion pack and I cant really see any significant additions to the sequel

In contrast even though I hated resistance 1 I cant wait for resistance 2. It'll be worth it for the onlne co-op alone

your missing out BIG TIME, imo..but to each there own.

lol, i was expecting this, Gears 1 was TOO unbalanced with the shotty, its was too powerfull, Epic saw this and corrected it. Now you find it much harder and it bothers you, Ha ha.

The stopping power, Less accurate shotty is much better IMO, and keeps things fair and interesting because its all about knowing when to use the right gun.

3 sites i know of gave it 8. Gamespot a 9...a 9 is a AWESOME score....stop with the complaining.

At first the game shows visuals very close to the first gears (when doing training)...toning down the Brightness helps but its still very similar, with improved lighting, in the beginning i saw a lot more lower rez textures and jaggies, but ONCE you get to CAVE area, MY god does it look stunning, in every aspect. But that isn't the beginning wait untill further on.

I think the standard brightness is best, since you can see better, toning it down...darkens it too much.

Far from it Cliffy, we all know you were that college nerd at school who got picked on for being short...now that you did gears, you put all that anger and rage and corny lines with big guys to make up for what you didn't have, growing up... its like you found a new religion and can't get enough of it...kudo's you made a 1 AMAZING game..but gsus, doesn't mean you should mouth off with everything.

Despite what CliffyB says, I'm sensing that Mirror's Edge is gonna flop. Perhaps it's a FPS that is trying to target the asian female audience?
