So sick of haters using OLD builds of MGS4 images showing low rez textures and snakes OLD model that isn't even in the game...gsus. (guessing those are the people who haven't touched the game and go by bad screen shots)
For those of you who have beaten MGS4, you will know that MGS4 holds up some of the best character model, expressions, cutscene movement, camera work and just about every in-game/real-time cutscene looks like a dam fluid movie.
I would like to point out that MOST of the praise comes from those real-time cutscenes and presentation/story, its simply unmatched, IMO and MANY OTHERS.

No, i am not saying it looks better than crysis NO ONE IS, but MGS4 stands its own ground in presentation and kills crysis in terms of cutscene presentation (not graphics) and how everything comes together, MGS4 is technically impressive considering the hardware..there just is no game like it, at what it does and how it does it. YES MGS4 has bad textures here and there, Kojima productions decided to bump up character detail and and have more going on, on screen-more so, so textures were kept to a mimimal, but even then some textures look great. MGS4 is also known for its artstyIe, it has a clean and sometimes cartoony look, the game has zero to NO jaggies and everything just looks real sharp.
Presentatioin is just a bonus, when you consider the story and how its told..its defiently an experience unlike no other, but you do have to fancy it, to really enjoy it...it isn't every ones game and more of a dedication to the hardcore MGS4 fans.
and please keep in mind, EVERY GAME to date has bad textures here and there, sacrificed to add more detail else where...we haven't reached hardware to the point of having everything perfectly detailed, consoles are FIXED hardware, not upgradable. PC games are a different story for obvious reasons..but even crysis has some, from what i have played on HIGH settings.
