I disagree with what the TC is saying, but I disagree with this even more. The RE series has always had terrible, cheesy B-movie plots with even worse writing. It's like every single horror cliche rolled into one :?. I'm sorry, but thats your opinion. I fancy the style of story and dialog, More so RE4 since it was much improved over the Classic ones. To each there own, putting a confused face doens't make your post right. There is NO one game everyone can like.
I just really enjoy the characters, virus setting for Resident Evil, its well done.

Lol, haters still use the 'Meh Gameplay' complaint? Its a FPS, only so much can be done, thanfully, GG have shat on every other FPS concerning animations, blood work, realistic bullet hits/detection and overall the atmosphere/environments. There is know denying that, unless your opinion and tastes are different, but from a technical standpoint, its the best. Said by many previews/impressions. Thanks to those things, the gameplay feels good, real and addictive...i could spend hrs just shooting people, because how cool and real it looks. We have yet to know the actual campaign and how epic it might be. Gameplay doesn't have to be original to be good, hell look at Halo 3, its Halo 2 with new paint and few new features, but look how good it scored? As long as it plays well, looks good and has reached a new benchmark of visual and technical design....thats all thats needed. I swear, once the haters play the game, they will be like 'oh snap, this is AWESOME'

so anyway to play this with a 360 controller? just cant playshooters on PS never could do, anyone know if a third party company released a ps3 controller that looks like a 360 one? cus if they have ill buy it.sonny2dap
the PS3 controller is fine for shooters, aslong as the L1 and R1 are used for primary aim and fire...which is the case.

He does make a point about Forza 2 though, for example from IGN: Graphics (7.0) Jaggies, jaggies, and more jaggies. At times, it appears this is LEGO Forza Motorsport 2. The drab colors and weak art design don't help. 60fps is welcome, though. Sure. Like I said "unless it's overwhelmingly jaggy". Some jaggies on distant buildings/objects won't hurt. Maybe GS feel like some of us who felt the game was TO IMPROVED (epic tried to hard), that the original fun factor got sucked out...Gears 2 doesn't feel as intense in your face action, as gears 1 did. Its slower, even more unbalanced and just not fun thanks to lag, bugs.etc.
They opped for realism and lost that fun factor. Similar to some who complain about GTAIV..i feel the same way with gears 2.
Gears of War 2 IMO, works for Horde and single player...thats it.
