I can certainly name a few:

1) Longevity: What happened to the 80 hour epics? Even the standard JRPG is down to 40/50 hrs now.

2) Originality: Luckily, this is coming back thanks to the showing of games such as Mass Effect, Bioshock and Assassins Creed. Though I hoped to expect more from the Next-Gen controllers and stuff, rather than sticking to the standard configuration weve had for 2 gens now.

3) Soundtrack: "wtf is he on about?!" you're thinking. Well, I believe soundtracks in games have declined, games such as FF7 and 8 had some fantastic, energetic music for things like boss battles, as did suikoden 2. Music in games now tends to be more ambient than active.

No, this is totally different. I just thought it strange of the BBC to report on something like this.

But whoah, threatening to confiscate some1s 360? Ha, well, shouldnt be a jerk on live should he.

I was in my ICT lesson today, and I picked up a piece of paper that had been in the printer, to find a BBC news article from the other morning (27th Feb it was). The article was on a particular gamertag called "Sharpe81", a player from Derby, UK (my own city in fact). It was saying about things such as making threats, kill stealing etc.

Its pretty good that the media are taking notice, but, i guess it isnt in a good light this time. Some of the things such as "completing such and such on easy for easy points" isnt exactly cheating or dishonest play though, but there were things such as kill stealing.

Ive tried to search the article out again but I cant actually find it, if anyone knows which one im on about please post a link.

EDIT: I apologise for the topic title, but thats how it was put.

No... mob... auto-leveling! This feature totally ruined the longevity of Oblivion for me. I love wandering into an interesting area and getting chased out by mobs that are so much more powerful than me, only to come back at a later date, kill those same mobs, and then explore the new area that I've earned the right to explore.

Other things I'd like to see include more diversity in races, classes, weapons and armor and more enticing reasons to play a thief.

Schwah

Absolutely NO mob auto levelling, i totally agree! It is much more fun finding high levels areas with powerful mobs. Same goes for weapons! If I know the location of a good weapon, I want it to be there!

I also want the environment to be more desolate like morrowind, oblivion was way too grassy and bright.

Is the official PS1 emulator actually out yet? because the latest update adds more support for games, so i assumed it was already out.

Tbh, its always better to keep things like that to yourself. Im 16, and I have a pretty deep voice, even for someone whose voice has broken. Admittedly, mature people, regardless of age don't deserve that kind of abuse unless they really are being holes (in which case, anybody deserves abuse). The thing that really annoys me is when you get 4 kids all crammed round the same mic, shouting and screaming.

Some people leave negative feedback simply because they are sore losers, or just to be spiteful, if you can check the feedback, see if there is something that may have given you the ban. But to those people who just shouted "you obviously did something blah blah blah..." maybe, just maybe, he didnt....because people do leave bad feedback out of spite or because somebody wins a game.

The HD in our house is the one downstairs, which people are usually always watching TV on, and my gaming set-up is in my room so I dont really have ready (easy) access to a HDTV.

Hey, does anybody actually know how to learn the epic skills in suikoden 5? Because I have them, but no character can actually equip them, and no trainers will teach them. Any help?

I for one loved Morrowind, in a lot of ways I like it better that Oblivion;

1) The world is more desolate
2) The NPCs are cooler, I miss the times where you'd walk past a Dunmer to have him sneer in your face - "What do you want outlander?"
3)There are more guilds (I think, dont get me wrong on that one).

I think Oblivion has foregon some of the things that made morrowind memorable in exchange for accessability.

I love Oblivion anyway.
