A new game :)

I've bought a new game :). Since my 360 hasn't been sent off to Silicon Heaven yet, I desperately needed a game to quench my ever, growing need for carnage and bloodlust. Well I can't play Saints Row 2 or Assassin's Creed.

I'm more gutted that the shop has sold their only copy of Assassin's Creed Director's Cut for the PC. The one in a nice tin. So instead I found a nice bargain I never expected myself to buy: Mercenaries 2 World in Flames.

Uh oh, I think mum's calling... got to hide this!

Okamiden

After looking at the trailer for the DS game Okamiden, I have to say that, it's soooo cuuuute! :D It's so adorably cute! Just looking at the puppy makes me mushy inside. I want to cuddle it!

Reality check: it's a game... It's not fair!

I mean look at Chibiterasu. Would you say no to a cute little puppy? Could you say not to a cute, adorable, little puppy? Could you? How could you say no to a cute, adorable, innocent, sweet, little puppy that has the ability to expel demons? Just look at him! He's so cute! (Girly-style squealing)

Chibiterasu

If you said no to the little puppy, then you have no soul.

What a day.

What a day, 2 days in fact. Monday I had a wasted 4 hour total trip to Aberystwyth to register into uni, only to find that returners like me have to register Wednesday. I'm going to cry. It already cost me an arm and a leg for petrol and now I have to drive up there and back again tomorrow.

Today, I did nothing but playing on SRW J, since it's such a good game and I love anime and mechs all in one. Now I'll just wait until mum comes down to relieve me of my duty here in the restaurant, so that I can watch the rest of Love Actually. :P

Uwahh!

Mum and dad has left me to hold the fort while they went to Northhampton on holiday until late night tomorrow. And so far, other than wheezing myself tired from gym and having KFC for breakfast/lunch/supper. Basically just one meal. It's so far not a bad day.

Finally had to sort out my xbox repair first from the phone and then finally on the web. God I hate call centres, they are just about as friendly as Arnold J Rimmer with a cactus stuffed up his backside. (Red Dwarf, look it up).

And so finally I had to register (for the first time in over a year since I had the black box) it first before actually order a repair. I think I'll just save up for a PS3 instead, minimal hassle.

Now I have a table for 13 people half of which are bratty kids, one wanted a chicken tikka masala. This is a chinese restaurant you cheeky, little... I think I'll give him the bill instead of the parents. He can wash dishes in our kitchen if he can't pay up.

I'll just sit back, try and relax while drinking Kopparberg cider on the job. I love being the boss.

Still recovering...

It's been so long since I last been online. Mainly due to laziness and busy playing Super Robot Taisen J.

Currently suffering from the cold, I haven't stop sneezing every 2 seconds yesterday. It was a nice night off for me, considering it would look bad in a restaurant.

Now I've been playing Tomb Raider Anniversary on PC, but my God, I'll never get over the sheer performance on it. It definitely is better playing it on PC than it is on Xbox 360. I do have one thing though...

She died while taking a swan dive. Hold on a sec, I just witnessed a Lara-cide, while she was supposed to swan dive into the water. She died doing a swan dive?! Bloomin' heck! There a later stages where she will be swan diving into the water, and she just died doing a swan dive in Peru... That never happened in the 360 version.

Game complete and continued again.

I have finally completed Super Robot Taisen J for GBA after so years of putting it off for other games or just sheer laziness. I have to say that after 52 missions, it was tiring but well worth it. Yay!!!

I'm playing it again because of the playthrough bonuses. This is one of the few rare games that I actually will play again and again and again. This and a few list of others:

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow

Mass Effect

Tomb Raider: Legends, Anniversary and Underworld

Finally online!

After a few days of being busy and socialising with friends, I have to say that it's good to be back online. I've been keeping myself busy by playing Tomb Raider Legend and Underworld on my recently pimped up PC.

And I have to say that Windows 7 release client has definitely got both my thumbs up. It's soooo beautiful, it runs sooooo smoooooooooooth my games. I've already had Windows 7 professional on preorder ages ago, but I hadn't expected that it would run sooo beeeaaaautifuuuuul!

Friends coming over

I have a couple of friends coming over to stay for a couple of days. Introduce them to a couple of Welsh places, good food and good booze. It would have been better had the Xbox not broken down when I needed it the most. How are we supposed to play Halo now? Oh well, at least there's Red Dwarf to keep us entertained.

Wow...robots...

My xbox is still stricken with the red ring, and I'm still playing Super Robot Taisen J. And by mission 40, I thought that the game was awesome. I managed to survive quite an army of robots and a beserker robot pilot, then to my luck another set of stronger enemies appeared. Love it to bits! Now my main character's upgraded robot is even more kick-a@# than ever!

Day 2 without the Xbox

Ugh...noooo.........my beloved Xbox 360!!! Wah!!! Why do have to die so?! Curse you red ring of death!!!

Now I'm playing Super Robot Taisen J on my DS just to sate my need for video gaming, but it still leaves me bitter. I can't finish Batman or Saints Row 2 at this rate.
