@Morphine_OD Yeah, they may be cheap, but I own a 3DS, and a 4GB SD card doesn't hold as much as you think it does. Just imagine trying to put Vita games on a 4GB device.
@kljohns2 Depending on how much hype the machine received before launch, many of those second shipments go to people that put money down on the system after the first batch sold out.
@TFC01 "Just how many games can one afford anyway."
Really, that's what you come with???? Since the holidays I've bought 3 3DS games not counting the cheap games on the eShop, 4 for my Wii U, and two for the 360. Not saying I'm loaded, but I'm a gamer that likes to play games. If the Vita had cheaper mem cards, I probably would have gotten one of those instead.
@SecularSage "I've played through the bulk of this game and I really don't understand why it's elicited such a "meh" from gamers,"
"My only major gripes with the game are the lack of true multiplayer and the iffy integration of touch controls that make some actions (like picking pockets) way harder than they need to be."
I don't think that they would risk banning used games (and in the same breath, rental games) only because they would have no choice but to lower the price of said games. $60 is too much for the AVERAGE consumer to pay for a game they could never recoup any monet from if they got tired of it. At the same time, I can see MS or Sony having a "trade in" plan where you mail in old games, and they give you a credit towards downloading something else. I know it sounds stupid, but that's exactly why I think one of them would do it.
