""Detachable tablets" are counted separately from PCs in this report."
Before I even finished the article, I figured that tablets were to be part of the blame. From where I sit, I don't see as many people buying new PC's because of the increasing power of tablets, and the ease of building your own (PC) has increased a ton. I go to sites like Dell just to see how much I shouldn't spend on my next PC (which should be done Summer if I can find the time).
""And the structure of meeting a character who comes from a nowhere desert and discovers that she has a power within her, where the bad guys have a weapon that is destructive but that ends up being destroyed--those simple tenets are by far the least important aspects of this movie, and they provide bones that were well-proven long before they were used in Star Wars.""
Is he really saying that what takes up about half of the film is the least important parts? Oh wait, did I spoil it for anybody?
Slightly off topic, but I'm really thinking of finding a used Vita in the next few months. I say used because most times they'll include a decent sized memory stick.
I don't know if I can decide the most interesting thing to come from this article...... the fact that people are actually (or at least pretending to be) angry or upset about the information (look, if this article can be used to prove a point in your "my console is better than yours" argument, you really didn't have a point OR argument to begin with). That Pornhub may be smut central, but by golly they at least know the key to success is to do yearly reviews and evaluate such information. Or, that I find myself reading the comments that have people giving valid reasons on why watching porn on a console is poor choice, but not in a demeaning way. Like, the most normal thing to pop up in an everyday conversation should be how annoying it would be to navigate ads on the PS4.
First of all, let's tell the truth; I can't be the only person that laughed!!!
Secondly, YES, it sucked. NO, I wouldn't wish that on ANYONE (giver, receiver), even people I hate. No, I probably shouldn't say this as a parent (because it really isn't my right just because I'm a parent to tell you how to raise your kids) BUUUUUT........
He's 9, you still let him believe in Santa, so much that you tell him ANOTHER LIE that they can't make electronics in the North Pole.
A) HE'S FUCKING SANTA!!! HE CAN MAKE ANYTHING!!!!!!
B) This isn't helping. Unless he's home schooled, some one will find out about this and pick on him. You should have done like the Dad that found out his son was being abused and kept it on social media. The moment you put yourself on TV, it's over. Then you get opinions from people like me that only find out about it through a website that got their info from.... THE NEWS.
C) Are you also still telling him that the reason he see's so many different Santa's around town is that they are all his helpers, or do you just avoid places other than the one you first took him to as a baby? I ask because the year my kid asked that question ( and we lied, she believed it and told it to all the other Santa's) was the last year we forced the issue of Santa on her, and she never brought it up in sincerity again. Point being, they'll figure it out all by themselves if you let them (although I will admit, I miss staying up and watching the Santa tracker until she fell asleep...).
@beantownsean: I've been arguing that point for years; If you're getting someone a console (or even certain games now), do them a favor and give it to them as soon as you can or do as much as you can for them.
@beantownsean: Silly Sean, that would mean that you would have to admit that even though all of your games are 1080p, you screwed yourself by switching components and not upgrading the cell proc.........
Sorry, I'm not sure if bringing that up is still a sensitive subject.
@Mogan: I bought the trilogy on friggin HDDVD for the 360 player. The picture and sound is awesome, and I'll pick up the BR editions if this thing ever dies and the replacement is too much.
