If I wanted a console that handled all of my gaming and media functions, I'd buy a PC. I wouldn't have certain exclusives, and I'd have to get used to a keyboard/mouse combo for some games, but I would have the ability to upgrade, and always be "state of the art". Maybe I am getting too old for this shit.....
Curious.... what do the insides of a Wii u look like? Is it possible for Nintendo to take back all of the basic models and "upgrade" them? If so, they would be setting a precedence for console manufacturing that I thought was years away.
@PsychicKiller82 No, you should remember the bad as well, that way you'll appreciate the good even more. I fully expect 90% of the people at my funeral to remember me as being an asshole the majority of the time. Then they'll talk about the good times we had, and hopefully, that conversation will be longer.
Look, i'm pretty sure that the games they show will be amazing, but I'm just not interested in anything else the system has to offer. Aside from Sony losing their minds again, the prices should be pretty competitive this gen. The kinect 2.0 alone is something I don't want to pay for; I didn't want to do it this gen, why would I change my mind now? I'm not saying that I'd NEVER purchase an Xbox One, just that the PS4 (and it's eventual ability to play streaming PS3 games) right now seem like my best bet.
Edit: And yes, I know the kinect 2.0 comes with the system, but you're still paying for it.
