Disney actually bougt Marvel for $4.2 billion. and rumor has it that they're looking at buying Hasbro Toys next.

Disney better not allow for anymore "Transformers" movies! I can't take another one!

Thank you for the price correction, I couldn't remember the exact amount.

So, Disney buys "Lucas Films" (for $4.05 billion!) a few years after they picked up "Marvel" (for $2.6 billion?). I understand that the company wants to become a multi-billion dollar company and some of their past marketing choices have not worked out (i.e. "Narnia" and "John Carter"). Yes, George Lucas wants to retire at some point. The Disney market allowed for "The Avengers" to have a decent budget. However, "Pixar" (started by George Lucas), "Marvel," and now "Lucas Films" are marketed through Disney. Not to mention, gamers and fans are still waiting for "Kingdom Hearts 3," will it ever be enough for Disney?

I'm about to finish "A Dance with Dragons" and I was wondering what to read (within fantasy literature, I'm reading other books from other genres) until "Winds of Winter" is published. I was thinking of "The Mistborn Trilogy" by Brian Saunderson (he was selected to finish Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series). I heard those books were amazing, but I'm open to suggestions. Any thoughts?

He didn't say it was God's will that she was raped

He said it was God's will that the child be allowed to live.

Liberals have a problem with allowing children to live.??

That's disgusting

A woman is raped.

Liberal solution . . .?

Murder a baby.

I never understood why the victim has to fight back, die, or act rashly until something gets done. Everyone sees it and everyone knows it, but nothing gets done until it's too late.

Why does it have to be for the "modern male"? What about girl gamers and the "modern female"?

TheWalkingGhost

Women have multiple channels in the USA just for them and men have about 2. So shut up, men can have a few just for them and you can go watch one of the bazillion women have. Not everything on the planet has to include women as well. Both genders can have something of their own.

Relax. I meant that there are girl gamers too. It cannot be assumed that only males play video games anymore. Get over yourself!!!

I have both handhelds. If you want more retro RPG's, then go with the DS. You can play Fire Emblem, Chrono Trigger, Suikoden, and Final Fantasy III and IV. The Zelda games are also good, as well as Dragon Quest. However, more of the old-school RPG's were available for the GameBoy Advanced. Unless you're willing to pay big $$$ or buy them used, I would start with the DS.

The PSP has Final Fantasy I and II, and Persona 1 and 2. Valkyire Profile: Lenneth is amazing as well.
