You have to be joking.

The main reason our body goes through puberty is so that our reproductive systems can develop. So once we hit puberty, that is nature's way of saying that we are ready to reproduce. It was only after 1000s of years did the human race try to interfere and set an "age limit". If you look at nature, most animals start reproducing as soon as they can, and seeing as we are one of the ONLY species to put an age limit on reproducing, it kind of looks like we may be in the wrong.

But what do I know, I was stupid enough to actually listen in Biology class:P.

you could start a topic about flowers and it will turn into a religious debate (although I have to admit that I kind of started this one).

I found a GREAT set of tutorials that will guide you through the process of modeling, texturing, animating, and compiling a Glock 18 gun in 3ds max and it will even show you how to put it into Counter Strike. Even if you do not want to design a gun for CS:S, this is still a great tutorial to get comfortable with way 3ds max works. It is also very newb friendly.

Yes, but I am well aware that I believe in something that could very well be a fallacy, but some athiests on this board think they know that their belief is right, and that god is just a fairytale.

What you just wrote is naive

The way i look at it, most religious people are just brought up having god and the bible (or any other religious book) presented to them as a fact from a very young age. E.G. If someone was brought up in a country with only white people and everyone believed that black people didn't exist, they would believe it aswell.

See, most people I know chose to be religious. Many actually were athiests at a certain time in their lifes (including me). Some even were grown up athiests.

In the old days, what you said is true about children being force-fed religion, but now it seems that even children are getting to decide their beliefs at a young age without much interference from their parents. This is probably the major reason why Athiestism is becoming soo popular in teens these days.

I am for once proud of being an American :D.

Honestly, If the Atheists on this board represent the majority of atheists over the pond, then I am NEVER stepping foot in the UK. Honestly, most atheists on this board are worse than religious extremist when it comes to pushing their beliefs on people. Not to mention the select few (not going to mention any names) who think they "know" that God doesn't exist and call us religious folks "naive".

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm just happy to see people supporting science and fact instead of people covering their ears and pretending it isn't there. Maybe Junkie did, but where did I act like I was better than anyone?

What I highlighted is kind of what I am talking about. Sure there is a lot of evidence, but Evolution still has a lot of holes, and while to a lot of people, Christianity doesn't (albeit Christianity is good at filling their holes with lies). What pisses me of the most though is that people actually state there beliefs as fact, and a lot of Atheists dismiss the possibility of God and never give religion a chance. I almost feel that being Atheist is the new hip thing this generation, because it is a way to rebel against your parents. I am glad that you are atleast agnostic so you know that God is still a very real possibility, but most Atheists are not.

Another thing that I HATE about the internet is that young teens learn their beliefs from the Internet, and I know this because the internet shaped my beliefs as well. I was raised a Catholic, but after going online for a few years, I became an Athiest and thought that Evolution and the big bang theory were perfect, but I finally got out into the real world and realized that while Evolution looks great on paper, it doesn't quite pan out in real life. I just hate to see the internet and people like you influence young teens to become Atheists. I do not mind if they become Atheists on their own, but do not try to influence them. I feel the same way about religious extremists trying to influence young kids to become Christians.

I am sorry if I offended you, but I just am afraid that one day religion will become instinct. While I think most religions are shaky at best, they do do a lot of good in this world, and to think that in a hundred years or so everyone may be walking around with no belief in anything and no true reason to live upsets me.

P.S. As you may be able to tell, my English is lacking severely. I have NEVER been good at sentence structures and essays, and even as an adult I still struggle with it, so just take my post at face value and try to ignore the annoying sentence structure :D.
